I added the mod first in my mod list. It removed my learned Simple Rifle Ammo Engram. I cant relearn it! It doesnt allow it. It seems to happen for each ammo type. I even tried mindwipe tonic. Didnt help

Ok Tentacle, let me know if you can solve it. To reinstall the mod, try deleting its folder from your HD before reinstalling, the folder has the same name as the ModID (first line of the description). I hope you succeed 🫡

Okay, I can confirm that the mod sort of stops working as I described previously, whenever I load into a save game on single-player regardless of map. I assume the mod installed incorrectly somehow, so I'll try reinstalling/resubscribing again. Thank you both for your help!

-however some of the very same resources were still modified by the mod - for example, some of the wood remained affected by the mod
-this would happen every time I quit and loaded back in
-I did not use S+ to store resources or craft items (thanks for the advice regarding this trick, I can give that a try next time), however I did use a modded crafting bench (the Arkitect Crafting Bench) which never caused problems before this save on Scorched Earth

I've just tried another map and the mod seems to be working perfectly fine, as usual. I'll let you know if it acts strangely again. I have no complaints as this is a wonderful mod. Thanks again for all your help!

Hi again! I hope these details help (long comment so reached character limit, will post next bit):
-this was a new single-player game (Scorched Earth map)
-I already had the mod installed before starting the new game, as I've used it for a while now and throughout multiple single-player worlds without any problems (until Scorched Earth)
-if I quit the game and later loaded my save to get back into the game, most of the resources would revert to act like vanilla - for example, wood being treated as vanilla wood with vanilla properties of weight, stack size

looks like i cant cheat in vanilla resources, they auto convert to modded ones. but try to use the S+ omni tool to transfer vanilla items from one inventory to another, which should convert them to the modded version. if not you may have to just take the L and throw them away.

i know it used to do that awhile ago, but i'm not sure if it does it now. have to cheat in a vanilla stack to see if it works; but the S+ multi tool "used" to convert items from vanilla to modded when you transferred them between one inventory to another via it's advance transfer option, but i dont know if it does it anymore. once i'm done doing the daily in warframe, i'll hop back on ark and test it.

An addition to what Dark said, if I'm not mistaken, the dedicated S+ has the function of converting resources to stack versions. So perhaps putting pre-mod-stack resources in a dedicated S+ and restarting the game and then picking it up would be enough.

Tentacle Radio: are the second stacks of resources not turning into the modded resources being gathered along with the modded ones, or are they mats you had before adding the mod?

pre-existing items wont convert to modded resources, so those have to be deleted. but if you're gaining both vanilla and modded resourced at the same time; then something is wrong with the game and it isnt fully using the stack mod.

I saw your message there, it's really strange, maybe it's because you're adding it to a pre-existing world. Check if it's working with the resources you farm from now on, there's a slight chance that the mod installation is corrupted too.

Hi there! I really like this mod, it's great! But it doesn't seem to work properly on Scorched Earth single-player for me for whatever reason. I've had no problems on any other map so far. I can have two of the exact same resource, but one will be affected by the mod, the other will be treated as default/vanilla and unaffected. I had uninstalled the game for a few months and reinstalled it with all mods in proper order (this mod is first in load order/top), so I'm not sure if something went wrong. I did not add this mod to a pre-existing save game, I had the mod already when I started a new game. Maybe I broke something? Anyway, thank you!

I have also reported this in the 'Report bugs' discussion, but I'm not sure if this is actually a bug or some sort of error on my part.

i used the file search to find the uasset of your kibble and apparently found a different mod with it's own kibble; which is why i got the ID wrong. it's been years since i've had to set this up so i'm basically re-learning how to go about it again.

this didnt work either. dont think the mod id is what's supposed to be going in that place. but i dont know how to open uassets so i cant find it myself.

@jackgenesisX - this works with only vanilla stuff, mods have their own stack system but their stacks can be modified with putting a certain script into the game.ini.

can i get one of the blueprint paths for one of the kibbles? editing stacks and adding it to the S+ pull system but i cant find how to see the path myself.

Yes, it works, just be careful in the transition. This one was made to be compatible with the old HG stack of the same size, that time the modder deleted everything from the internet before he died (may he rest in peace), if the mod you use there is the same base, the replacement won't work. it should cause problems, if not, some things should disappear when replaced

Stack mods should always be first in the mod list so that everyone else can update the recipes with the remap. When you add a mod stack after you are already playing, you must collect the structures and reposition them so that the structure's internal engrams are updated

So this mod broke my engrams for the regular tranqs and a few other things like chain bola. I can’t craft these things despite knowing the engrams and haven’t been able to fix this so far.

How difficult is it to change the weight of items? I use this kickass stacking mod but the raw high protein meat, cooked high protein meat, etc etc from kbd Is still heavy. I did however get the modded items to stack. Just not sure how to adjust their weights.

weight side seems to not be working. as i get new things, i starts it's own stack too.

Vish, the remapping is done for all items and there is no way to disable it. Have you seen the order in which the mods are? The ideal is for mod stacks to be 1st or 2nd, before any mod with revenue, it is also good to collect the structures and place them again to update

is it possible to disable the kibble changes? i have mod that uses kibbles for recipes and it wont recognize the kibble

Does not change the name (items are part of the vanilla item hierarchy, inheriting all values). There is only a change in the UI/ToolTip view, showing a few more things, such as stack size and maximum stacking, I did this as a way to allow the player to differentiate what is being stacked via mod and what is a vanilla item.

Kind of difficult, you would have to have access to the original mod. For this you can try the game's native stacking config, I just don't know how it behaves with parallel stacking mods

Every time you change the stack mod (or put a new one since you didn't use it), the ark remaps all crafting recipes, however, it doesn't remap the structures already placed in the world, so, for them to recognize the remap, you will have to collect them and reposition

I believe there is a bug when cooking meat in the industrial grill, the meats don't dont become their respective types of cooked meat, fish meat becomes both regular cooked meat and cooked fish meat, and mutton makes cooked prime, I changed my mod to RG stacking 10000 -90% and it went back to normal, plase look into it! thank you.

I don't remember if there was a Y trap stack in HG stacks, Z fruit I know it didn't. In the last update I created the stack version of Z fruit but I didn't look if the Y traps.
Next update I will add the Y trap stack as 500 and fix the charging battery engram.

Hey, I've been using the mod for a few days and it's great.
I just noticed that the Plant Species Y Traps do not stack. Is this a bug in the mod or do you have to set this extra. The Z fruits are stacked up to 500.

This setting is a multiplier, so if you set it to 0, it bugs all stacks in the game, since 10000x0 = 0, but since there cannot be a "0 item", the game replaces the result with 1.
I have never touched this configuration, but I imagine that the best thing is to keep its value at 1, always remembering to save it in the ASM, or if you are directly editing the .INI, do it with the asm/server closed, save it and only then open the ASM and start the server

I found in server GameUserSetting.ini ItemStackSizeMultiplier is set to 0, once set to 1, it seems the item stack size goes back to normal. However the server build tool will always set this setting and I can't delete this setting, is this OK to set ItemStackSizeMultiplier to 1? Or any value recommended?
