There is footstep addons that work for both singleplayer and multiplayer. DSteps do not work on multiplayer unless they have the same addon installed.

pretty good improvement of the sound removing the biii noise almost completely, even if it cant be all removed its a big step up from before to clearer sound, I look forward to more improvements or changes down the line, well done indeed :)
