see this is where my point of "time consuming" comes in. not "porting" maps. i was meaning "recreating" them in hammer. another time consuming this would be coding of course
a few weeks ago i thought of a cool gmod gamemode that is based on dead trigger 2. i have no experience with creating a gamemode and my idea would be insanely time consuming for sure. my idea had similar mechanics to jazztronaughts as theres a map that is the home base. in the home base you can do everything you can in your hideout in DT2. the gun smithing will let you customize your weapons and/or buy new parts (i recommend using ARC9 guns) the engineer will let you buy grenades and other power ups. the medic will let you buy health upgrades and medkits. and the smuggler will let you buy modifiers. and of course can't forget the base customization. you use a bulletin board to go to different maps. unlike jazztronaughts the base gamemode has its own maps but id recommend an open source for fan maps. your thoughts on this? i wanted to type this on your profile but its set to private
