In hydrogen engines, the power cells don't turn into scrap. You can grind them and reweld them wiothout the loss of power cells.

Actually, you can hack batteries if you are very careful. A small grid small battery needs 7 clicks with a tier 2 grinder then the computers are ground off, but the Power Cells unharmed. Computers are above the Power Cells in the vanilla list.
Hydrogen engines.on the other hand have the Power Cells above the computer. For that this would be useful.
