This doesn't change the menu behavior which is intentional. Use the console and do something like map c8m1_apartments versus to actually host a match. If games still fail to start once the map is loaded, check your addonconfig.cfg file and confirm the values are set to 0.

you need two ppl in there to be infected to start the round with bots :/

I did everything you said to do in the description, and everytime i host a versus lobby, it wont let me start the game, just sits there and has "start the game" blurred out

the only other versus offline i know that works properly is downfall practice versus, it if u type sv_consistency 0 can be played in a pub up to 3 other players on the survivor team while u or anyone else with the mod can switch back and forth between teams
