Hard disagree. I think this looks fine and hardly flat.

Would make a pretty solid mercenary/commando war paint. Two complaints:
1) The metal texture is pretty good, but it looks a little too much like fabric. I would suggest some changes to it, maybe make it shinier and darker, less brown.
2) The team color texture is just too flat. Maybe add oil splashes or a gradient, idk; just something so that's not just... red/blue.
