I haven't updated it lately but it still should work fine. I've been traveling a lot so haven't had the time to check on it. I will keep updating it when things slow down for me
Highlander seems t have been straight up removed by the author, not sure why. Weirdly enough, both culture submods that I originally supported have since been removed. Now it' just Legacy of Valyria's additional cultures that I support
I've been a bit off my modding game because Roads to Power pushed my computer to its limits and made AGoT in particular not run at all. Once I've sorted that I'll be more on the ball.
In general, updates and submods adding more of the map will not break this mod. At worst it will simply fail to add languages to new cultures, and since I've got the most egregious regions when it comes to monolinguism covered (Westeros and the Free Cities), it should all be fine even in that case. I'll take a look at that other submod when I can.
I have modified the court languages, but I have likely missed a few of the existing kingdom or empire titles of the last couple of updates, but the AI is likely to change them to the appropriate language anyway as Zacorin said.
@Shazzer I dont think it needs a compatch just updates on the far eastern cultures in slaver's bay, dothraki etc. since all these cultures are in the game just not on the map so itll carry over.
@Solutos Lupus It does indeed effect court languages, tho if you are using a bookmark mod at all they might start with common and move over to their regional language when they can. Might just be a load order thing tho so putting this mod below any bookmarks might help.
@childofdragons As of now no it shouldnt
@ilikeswordz I also agree that all the Marchers all speaking stormish is a bit odd. A split with maybe the far western stormlands Marchers being considered part of the reach Marcher culture due to distance.
Also yeah any mention of Highlander should be removed as it isnt relevant.
@alchemistre I just updated it again. If it's still giving you the version warning, you may have to manually download the mod by unsubscribing and resubscribing
As for the "Old" and "Common", it has to do with the base mod. A few updates ago, they replaced the culture screen localization for "Language" and "Heritage" from vanilla with ""Blood" and "Tongue" respectively. So while it used to be "Old Tongue language", after that change it became "Old Tongue Tongue", which obviously doesn't work. That's why the language is now just "Old", and I matched that for the various tongues I added like Norther and Free.
Also for some reason "Old Tongue" is showing up as just "Old", same for Northern Tongue
Right now my plan is to have it be "Bastard Valyrian" for the lowest diversity setting, a North/South Valyrian split for the medium setting, and then all the dialects you mentioned for the highest diversity setting.
I should get it done later today, tomorrow at the latest.
