Lezzistrata, is there a way to remove the whole rift with console command? I've been looking for a way for a long time, but I haven't found it :steamfacepalm: They ruin my perfect galaxy...

@gumbar Yeah, I'm still working on it. Sadly it doesn't work like a regular archaeology site, so as far as I can tell I can't remove the site without removing the whole rift. Current idea is to replace them with "dummy" rifts that have the astral thread output without anything else.

Savadrin, only two precursors have dig sites, the Zroni and the Grunur. The others are just done through anomalies and special projects.

Also, the precursor digsites are generated from an amonaly, and when completed, automatically create a pecial project somehwere else that turns into a digsite once researched. If you get the Zroni or Grunur precursor, you are guaranteed to get their digsite on the first precursor anomaly you research.

The likelihood of digsites appearing has nothing to do with whether or not you get the precursor ones, becaue hte precursor ones are 100% guaranteed to spawn if you get that precursor.

I've been trying to figure out a way to make this hide completed astral rifts, however I haven't come up with a way to do it yet.

now if only someone would make a mod to generate more dig sites. i go multiple games in a row without a precursor becuase i got no dig sites

this mod's only tragic flaw is that it can remove dig sites before the last windows are clicked out of and I think it permanently keeps that pulsating highlight situations on them if they're auto removed before that. If I figure out how to solve this hiccup i'll let u know asap

Mod does what it says on the tin. I'll note that it does break a few events depending on the deletion timing (Larion Refugees is an example from vanilla). Probably not an easy way to fix this, except for maybe putting the clear out timer to something very long.

After doing the site in Gigastructure Engineering 'The Everchanging', the entire planet went away, not just the site.

I'm doing a run with this mod for the first time and I didn't get any archaeology site progress notifications until I disabled the mod. It was still progressing up until I needed to click the button on the popup but since I didn't get the popup I didn't know it was ready to be advanced. This happened with 3 archaeology ships, both automatic and manually ordered on 3 different sites. I have no other archaeology mod enabled. Also, my messages settings are all default.

@swiftchange It shouldn't ever be able to clear sites that aren't completed, but I'll take a look. Thanks for letting me know.

I found a mod conflict with the Infinity Stone mod. If you create an archaeology site (for investigating stones) on the same planet as a recently finished archaeology site (this site was a created stone investigation) The mod will clear the newly created site. I can't find the power stone investigation site in the situation log or anywhere. I believe that I was not actively researching the stone and thus passed the 2 year check you added? I can not create a new power stone investigation site as I have an existing flag, this breaks the infinity stone mod being unable to progress.

Especially useful when you have multiple sites in a system and the one that is completed hides the others. Why wasn't this in the base game?

Half of my paradox mods always tend to be features that should be incorporated in the game itself. I always (in vain) hope that the devs look at top rated/received/useful mods and just put it in the game itself. Very useful! Thanks!

@Figaround Yes, it's savefile compatible. It may take up to two years to clear out all the old sites, but it should work fine.
