Do your mods need to be updated currently?
Relok  [author] 12 Mar, 2024 @ 8:11pm
- Updated for AGOT 0.2.2
- localization added for French, Spanish and German languages
Relok  [author] 6 Mar, 2024 @ 1:49pm
- Added proper Bastard Cadet name generation, now it takes into account the dynasty (if the dynasty is a well known one). Eg: Goldstag (Baratheon), Snowwolf (Stark), and many many more
- In some cases it is also possible to merge the names of 2 greater houses for the new bastard cadet, if both of the parents are coming from bigger houses. Eg: Dawnfyre (Targaryen bastard with Dayne blood), Ravensun (Martell bastard with Blackwood blood) and more.
- Compatible with CK3 1.11.5 / CK3AGOT 0.2.1
Relok  [author] 2 Mar, 2024 @ 2:09pm
- Updated for AGOT 0.2.1
- Bastard Cadet house names are now also generated with this mod
- Bastard Cadet house names for bigger dynasties (eg Baratheon, Stark, Lannister etc) are currently not thematized (like house Whitewolf for Starks, Goldstag for Baratheons, etc), but it is a plan for the future.

@bwurbanski I’m not sure what files AGOT+ changes besides existing house CoAs, I don’t use that mod. I think this mod should go after AGOT+, but I’m not sure if it’s even compatible.
bwurbanski 23 Feb, 2024 @ 12:41pm
what should be the order of mods? I use your both mods and agot plus. constant crashes
Relok  [author] 18 Feb, 2024 @ 6:18pm
- UPDATED for AGOT 0.2.0.1
- Added name generation for all new cultures.
Relok  [author] 17 Feb, 2024 @ 8:48pm
I'm currently working on compatibility with AGOT 0.2.0, and I'm also extending the name generation for western Essosi cultures.
FrogYert 8 Feb, 2024 @ 10:47am
does this mod work with new patch?
Relok  [author] 11 Jan, 2024 @ 8:28pm
@L◌rdGr◌nk_ Can you describe in what way it does not work? I tested it and it works for me even when I use 40 other submods.

Just for clearity, it works only for the following cases:
- Raise to Nobility character interaction
- Giving feudal land to a lowborn
- And for most of the event spawned characters
BenFD 9 Jan, 2024 @ 11:49am
seems like the submod no longer working with the latest patch !
Relok  [author] 12 Dec, 2023 @ 9:34pm
Mod updated for AGOT 0.19.1.
BenFD 8 Dec, 2023 @ 9:40am
update pls !
Relok  [author] 8 Oct, 2023 @ 3:11pm
New update:
- raise to nobility name generation fix
- added thousands more name generation options
- added more valyrian specific dynasty/house names
- characters generated via events (e.g. during travels or random events) now also using my dynasty/house name generator (there might be still vanilla naming in some cases)

Updated for AGOT 0.1.12.1
Relok  [author] 16 Jul, 2023 @ 9:42am
@Kam both of my mods work with and without Patrum Scuta so I'm guessing another mod is causing your issue.

@horarioginasio2015 not that I know of. It needs only the AGOT mod.
horarioginasio2015 12 Jul, 2023 @ 6:42am
Is there any dlc needed to play?
Kam 5 Jul, 2023 @ 12:20pm
@Relok Thanks a lot! Patrum Scuta seems to stop COA generation through your other mod so I've disabled it in favour of your mod. Hopefully someone makes a shield only mod someday!
Relok  [author] 1 Jul, 2023 @ 2:19pm
@Kam Thanks! Yes, I use a another mod called Patrum Scuta.
Kam 1 Jul, 2023 @ 3:45am
Really great mod, works amazing with your other submod! May I ask how you got the COA to appear as shields rather than the vanilla frame?
Relok  [author] 7 May, 2023 @ 11:21am
@bwurbanski just uploaded a fix for this.
I noticed the character remains dynasty of "Essos" if the AI controls it (player receives an event to chose origins after the war is won), but it does even without this mod, so I assume of the dynasty remains "Essos" it's a base mod glitch.
bwurbanski 7 May, 2023 @ 7:40am
there is an event, probably newly added, that Aegon young gryff lands... and his name changes from targeryn to random
Jjthejuiceman 5 May, 2023 @ 1:48pm
I was just thinking the other day about how i wish i didnt have to go and fix all the crappy base mod dynasty names. thanks much for this!
Relok  [author] 2 May, 2023 @ 11:24am
Yepp, I just ran into that one too. Will be fixed in the next update.
bwurbanski 2 May, 2023 @ 11:02am
dynasty of Dragon Point: RonDynDynSuffix_ren Dynasty ... lol
Relok  [author] 2 May, 2023 @ 10:28am
This mod doesn't change anything regarding the iron bank. The base AGOT mod had a similar issue, but I'm not sure if it's still present or not.
bwurbanski 2 May, 2023 @ 10:13am
one last thing - could the patch be responsible for the iron bank exploit? I borrow I don't pay back the bank sponsors the claimant and I can borrow again...
bwurbanski 2 May, 2023 @ 9:21am
by the way, it's strange that the authors of the main mod decided to introduce a mechanism that changes the coat of arms of the fief to the coat of arms of the family holding the fief each time.
Relok  [author] 2 May, 2023 @ 9:06am
Thanks. There is another case when a character receives a new dynasty name:

if a character already has a dynasty name and has no parents (for example invited as a knight or start the game with land). In these cases the character will get a new dynasty name, but it happens only once, so that character won't receive new names again and again. I'll try to fix it on this week.
Relok  [author] 2 May, 2023 @ 8:52am
Are you sure it's still happening after the update? The fix I made in the update removes the possibility if a character received a dynasty name by this mod in the future that character won't be able to get a new dynasty name.
bwurbanski 2 May, 2023 @ 8:34am
no problem mod is great and innovative just need to patch a few things
bwurbanski 2 May, 2023 @ 8:33am
taking a fief from a vassal also changes the character's house name.
Relok  [author] 2 May, 2023 @ 8:12am
@bwurbanski thanks for pointing this out. I just uploaded a fix for that. It should fix both problems you listed below.
bwurbanski 2 May, 2023 @ 7:24am
another thing that isn't much of a problem anymore, but after conquering a new county my family name changes again.
bwurbanski 2 May, 2023 @ 7:02am
fountain of wisdom - it works! one small note that if a nobleman already has a coat of arms and a surname, the coat of arms remains unchanged but changes his surname.
Relok  [author] 2 May, 2023 @ 5:45am
If this is your exact load order list it can cause many issues not only with this mod, but a lot others too.

In general, try to follow this load order logic:
1. everything that is unrelated to AGOT
2. below these mods add AGOT
3. below AGOT everything that is dependent on AGOT
Relok  [author] 2 May, 2023 @ 1:41am
@bwurbanski I think it is conflicting with another mod you use. Namechange should happen only if the landed character’s parents had no dynasty (not the mother and not father, or they simply don’t exist). It is defined in the title_on_actions.txt so I suspect another of your mods modifying that file which makes them incompatible.
bwurbanski 1 May, 2023 @ 9:59pm
it seems this mod changes my last name every time a baby is born
