Also Pootisss said, that even if we set the exits to "0" its still we need to somehow exit the map to win. You can fix it somehow, to be the last man standing who wins? thank you
osea afectaría a todo el mapa?
puedo selecciona por ejemplo que solo afecte a lousville?
I did set the sandbox setting for amount of players to one for testing. I made sure the map files were clear, only had the mod enabled, then started the server. I log in then Im in pitch black and the timer started running.
Before I set the player count to 1, it was defaulted to 16. When I logged a character in, it wasnt pitch black and the timer wasnt running.
depends on TchernoLib mod.
quit is now strictly based on OnlinePlayers. Admin and winners must leave by themselves or die to auto quit.
PvP off timer is now in realtime seconds.
Timers are now only in realtime secodns (it was confusing when Simulated Hours were also available).
Zone display is thicker. It is still ugly, but an easier to see kind of ugly.
Displayed zone disappearing cases should be reduced.
Defaults sandbox configuration matches realtime timers.
- set Exhaustion to 0
- multiply your timings by 150. (except the 'Exit action base time' and 'quit delay' that do not change) there are 9 variables, from "Min Reduction Time" to "Max Rest Time Variation" and do not forget to update the "Final Collapse Time".
I'd recommend to reduce that timer if the last round time is too long.
If we spawn a horde, it will make nearly impossible to open the exit in edge cases, as we have seen with Yepirate's horde on Rosewood 3.
If there are better ways or if I miss something with the horde solution, feel free to precise it.
Dangerous zone is outside a disc.
The limit of the disc is a circle (approximation displayed on the world with straight lines).
Players that exit are put into a rectangle zone.
Since i don't own or host dedicated servers i only have a handful of friends which is fine.
Managing battle royale players with non-players would be too much of a hassle.
If you really want to apply it on an existing server, you can inform your players, and apply the mod for a limited time. Players who do not want to participate do not connect during that time and you remove the mod once it is done.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the post and anything i can help it did take a lot time to do that in that detail though i don't mind as it may help you in anyway in the future in suggestions and ideas on the mod.
I mean for all we know the developers might even make a battle royal mode for MP as a server option just for fun and that spark could very well of happend because of this here mod so any way i could help to make it easy is always good.
As for the other features listed that may or may not get in from ether it will take too much time or out of your skill range that is fine i always like to see projects like a lose screw or stone brick that you chip away to make a stature masterpiece overtime as i have my own projects in the works and i found working bit by bit at it adjusting and adding overtime helps :)
The time setting is already handled by current Sandbox options.
Winners and loosers (dead) are displayed respectively with a star and a skull in the score panel.
The time display is answering of small part of your proposal.
I am not decided on adding a buying system for now.
I am not decided on adding spectators any powers (sorry, I see you've invested some time on that point).
I will try to add a spectating option (awesome idea) but it looks like a huge task ahead so no promisses.
add time display on scoreboard panel.
time display can be switched between time until next phase (next shrink or next rest step of the zone) and time until full collapse (if there is any randomness, mean time is displayed with the associated randomness in the tooltip)
time display can be switchedxd on / off from sandbox options.
When and if you can find the time to take a look at it, I look forward to what thoughts might be on the suggested options that can be added into the mod as server options anyways thanks for taking your time and skills in developing this for the PZ :)
works also in solo mode.
zone, scores, .. persist when stopping (with quit) and restarting the server.
So now you can test more easily your Battle Royale favorite configurations and mixes with other mods.
Nexon company are $%^&*, but shrinking maps is not something exclusive to one game.
Best wishes to you :)
