I updated the mod but forgot to upload it to Steam. Woops 😅It's working now

Did this get updated? Steam is still showing as last update being in Aug 2023 for me. The mod also crashes with an error.

I have resubbed as well.

good mod but few issue, the build doesnt bring price down even if says, also the garison doesnt work, says units will be in garison but when build first and last building they are not in the garison.

@Throckmorton I can look into making a patch possibly sometime after 4.0, but I will make no promises

If you would like, you can use the units only version to use all the units from both mods at the expense of the recruitment overhaul

Is it at all possible for a comp patch with Expanded Roster - Chaos Dwarfs. The changing of buildings gets rid of the ability to recruit the units from that mod.

From a gameplay perspective, 28 rockets is over-powered. You will basically never run out of ammo, especially with Infernal Castellans to replenish your supply. From a logical perspective it's impossible to hold 28 rockets of that size with you.

If you worry about the ammo count I recommend getting Castellans to replenish your ammunition.

While gatling guns are a thing, I've only ever seen Dwarfs use them. Chaos Dwarfs, while more technologically skilled than the Dwarfs, do not have a unit in the lore that uses gatling guns.

Update/patch:
- Unit card bug fixed
- Bazuki ammo reduced from 28 to 5. They now shoot a minimum/maximum of 5 volleys

Bazuki are lore-accurate; inspired by the Bazuka/Bazooka weapons team. Zharruki are not lore-accurate by they are lore-friendly.

Update/patch:
- Magma Foundries is now Tier 2 and costs 800 armaments to build, whereas it was Tier 3 previously and costed 1700 armaments to build
- Magma Foundries now make armament unit caps in the Hell-forge 4% cheaper
- Rocket Foundries now make armament unit caps in the Hell-forge 6% cheaper
- Armament unit caps stack; if you build enough foundries you could even make upgrading unit caps free (most likely lategame though)
- Magma Foundries now give 1 unit of Zharruki as a garrison
- Rocket Foundries now give 2 units of Zharruki as a garrison and 1 Deathshrieker Rocket Launcher

Update/patch:
- Zharruki fire resistance has been fixed; they now have fire resistance at 60%
- Bazuki fire resistance decreased to 30%
- Custom battle duplication bug fixed (thank you @Dov)
- All K'daai units (including summons) have had fire resistance boosted to 70%
- Bale Taurus has fire resistance boosted to 70%
- The Infernal Castellan is now recruitable from the Overseer's Headquarters as well
- The Infernal Garrison's garrison units should now show up as intended

Future update:
- Plan to add the Harridans, berserk Chaos Dwarf female warriors who often serve as bodyguards to Daemonsmiths
- Infernal Guard helmet reskins
- Infernal Guard landmark building chain for the Black Fortress that lets you get them easier and earlier

@Malidus, in Chaos Dwarf lore Black Orcs are to be killed on sight for the revolution they caused at one point which nearly wiped out the Chaos Dwarf race. They were saved by the grace (or lack thereof) of the Hobgoblins and they know it; they would never field Black Orcs in any capacity again. However, I do like the idea of more slave units to spice it up a bit. Not sure right now though

+1 for a version that just adds the new units without touching buildings; i use mods that either touch buildings already, or add other Chorf units that your rework would interfere with.

Another observation: due to the price of the Magma Foundries and Zharukki, it would make more sense if it was tier 4 instead of tier 3.

I think you should make the costs standard for their tier, as well. 1500 tier 4, 2500 tier 5. At the point you can afford to spend 2500 armaments on a building, it doesn't much matter if it's 2300, 2500 or 3400, so might as well use standard tier armament costs.

So idea; are there any plans to additional slave units, but at the expense of Public Order? Like Black Orcs for example; stronger, beefier, ideal slave soldiers as they were (somewhat) meant to be, but there was the black orc rebellion. Could we recruit more varieties of slave units according to what the Chaos Dwarfs might have used in lore, but at the expense of public order as these slave units undoubtedly would want to conspire with their brethren to eventually rebel?

That'd certainly make slave armies the fodder solution they're meant to be almost and making the Chorfs a bit harder to economize on since you'd have to place limited Chaos dwarf units or more expensive hobgobos to keep provinces in line. What do you think? Wonderful mod in the meantime :) Thanks for it!

@Decado, Yes. The Bazuki are based off of the Chaos Dwarf Bazuka weapons team from the Warhammer Armies (3rd Edition) and Ravening Hordes (2nd Edition). The Zharruki are not lore-accurate, but they are lore-friendly. Regular Dwarfs already have Irondrakes and Chaos Dwarfs have some flame-spewing units, just no flamethrowers proper, what with being fire worshipers and whatnot. Perfectly logical

You should probably remove the unique building line that provides no benefits other than the 2 new units and move the units to the daemonsmith line.
