Given how the next DLC coming out next month is going to completely overhaul and revamp the Hero system, I suspect that this mod may not be supported by the gameplay mechanics for much longer.

Wish this was updated.. was the best for RP but the new eldritch heroes don't get this applied to them so we can't use them at all dang..

I'll be honest, I'm currently busy with developing a huge update for other mod in another game and I'm currently motivated (both on a personal satisfaction scale and financial side) to do that. I'm currently not playing AoW4 but when I come back to it I will be updating my mods since I use them to play the game. So anywhere between 2 weeks and 2 months :shrug:

Modding AoW is tedious as hell, you don't write code, you manually edit table entries and when update drops you have to do everything from 0 again, because you don't know if in update there are new references that can break if you don't discard ALL your changes and do them from 0 again.

Running into the exact same crash with AI rulers namely eldritch sovereigns. Mod desperately needs an update to function. No other mods on, no conflicts, just this.

I keep reliably getting a crash when one of the AI rulers hit a level up.

Is there a way to have this without "Skill points per level changed from 1 to 2."?

Eldrich Soverigns do not have extra signature skill slots, also, if its not too much to ask, is it possible to allow for multiple specializations like both mindbreaker and fleshcrafter? I really want to just be a true eldritch monster that plays with both the mind and body of my allies and enemies

@Gentar there is no crashes with eldritch sovereigns, u have mod conflict or something

yea 10 more levels is probably the sweet spot for me, 20 levels is too weak level 50 is too much. All i want is a hero cap / skill point mod that does not crash the game when i make an item in the item forge. level 30 with 2 points a level is probably going to feel to darn strong too i suspect. But if this don't crash in the forge imma go with this one.

Hi! Would it be possible to have a mod that grants a skill point every 2 levels or something like this? I haven't looked into modding AOW4 yet.
I played a game with this mod and while it is certainly fun at first to speed up development of heroes, 2 skillpoints per level seems a bit too much. At some point you simply run out of relevant skills which makes the heroes more and more alike (and OP as hell).

This still works and thanks for making it. But I'm getting a bug that stops seafaring working. I can still get seafaring but when I try to move any unit onto sea it tells me I need to research basic seafaring and won't let me. I tried uninstalling mods related to empire upgrades and imperium, but still the same bug. Wondered if this mod might affect it or not?

I really don't wanna maintain multiple versions of same mod. Maybe later. In meantime you can check AOW discord in modders channel you can find help how to do that yourself. You need HeroGlobalSettings.rpk or GlobalSettings_Strategic.rpk, don't remember. There's pin how to edit someones mod. It's like 2 min job. +20min if never worked with AOW modding tools.
