Nice! Also check out Mechwarrior Civil war if you would like a version where you build a base and economy with factions. Or Battletech 3050 for a more conventional RTS experience with retro Battletech designs.

amazing mod!

I find that against AI, they mostly use tanks (and infantry in civil war) vs mechs, is there any tweak to make them spawn mechs more?

@ZincKobold I found that i broke the retrain pilots mechanic in a previous update. I uploaded a fix. Just update the mod.

I've made double sure there's not one sitting in the dropship and tried making a new match on the same map and still the same issue.

Thats really odd because they should simply spawn inside the dropship. The map should have little influence.

It seems like certain maps will not allow mech warriors to be made, and sometimes they are completed but never spawn. It still takes away a pilot as if in use too.

I don't have any other mods enabled and maps like King of the Center completes but never spawns them while Big Island keeps them stuck in production.

New Version that adds the Raptor, Crab, King Crab and Shadow Cat 'mechs! Assault tanks no longer explode on death, mechs no longer step on their allied vehicles. Revised hud targeting effects. Added active probes. Battlemechs are raising from the scrapyard this Halloween, the Corsair joins the fray!

Would love to see the centurion and shadowcat. I really like everything so far its just the early game is kinda limited maybe adding a hq command vehicle to deploy men or something might help

I saw somewhere in the comments for point defense systems, and that made me think about auxiliary systems. Just throwing it out there. Overall, I give the big mechs mod a SUSHIMAKI out of ten

You can change equipment only when inside the Dropship. Ejecting is only possible when your mech is about to get destroyed. You ear the beeping sound and the lightning effect.

So how does one change Mech Equipment? i cant seem to figure out how, same goes for ejecting a Mech's pilot, i dont see an option with the unit selected, cant find any hotkeys in the options...but besides that, its a very fun and interesting mod!

Added Executioner omnimech and Scorpion battlemech. Executioner is an assault mech that can reach over 90kmh speed thanks to its MASC system.
Fastest assault mech in the mod, it can pursue light mechs.
Scorpion is also a very fast medium mech with decent armour but somewhat lacking weaponry.

This mod is fantastic. Would love to see an Archer or Catapult mech added as well as Long Tom or Arrow IV artillery units. Will be sinking so many hours into this.

Its not meant at all to be played with vanilla. And you can only replace pilots you loose with solar farms.

Highlander, Timberwolf, Marauder, and Shadowhawk, all tweaked with custom loadouts, and at the last second the enemy dropship kamizake pancaked the entire lance.

10/10 would blow 25mil C-Bills on a huge explosion again.
