@Ben That's what I was looking for. There used to be a mod that only increased it to 50, but it seems to have since been taken down. At least, I can't find it.

Quick question. Is it possible to make a LITE version of this? As in increase the pop to 50 instead?

not sure if it's just me as i haven't seen anyone else mention it. but with this mod enabled sustained city terraforming spells do not seem to be working. testing with no mods they work fine. testing with only this mod enabled they do not work. they can be casted and immediately terraform the city center, but do not affect additional provinces on turn rollover.

The mod is working fine, but you'll be using the old food calculations. Looked this up just cause I was curious, and 30 food before was like 12k in this mod. But in vanilla it is now 6000 as per the mystic update. so yeah, they're just a flat 400 more per pop instead of the %

I think they meant the druidic empire from the empire skill tree.
@starflight I think what happened was you had pop growth already past the half way point so when you unlocked druidic empire it immediately gave you the pop as the skill cuts pop growth cost in half. No problem from the mod's end I'm pretty sure.

I wasn't able to replicate nor there are any other comments that cities growth stops at 20. Therefore, issue is on your end.

I love "the experts" who come and claim that it's my mod that's broken and not some other mod breaking mine. Have you, per chance, tried making a new save with only this mod enabled to check if mod works or not? I wonder...

so me thinks this needs an update. Upon reaching 20 pop my city no longer got any expansions, yes there was space availabe and yes it was within my annexation range

It looks incorrect. You have some other mod that break it. I've tested this on PF realm and on custom realm, in both cases all start on 1 pop city, nor would anything in this mod change starting pop.

Looks like on the new scenario with this mod, the native AI rulers gain over 100 pop on their cities right off the bat and whenever they settle a new city, pretty amusing lol!

You have to pretty much re-make the mod from scratch, as file that this mod touches were changed, so it breaks it (that's my assumption)

That is the reason I made a personal mod for this, instead of asking the author to change his I made my own changes, but I don't understand what is the issue that is crashing the game now.

So, so many mods were broken by this update, it's insane... the mod tool is already a nightmare to deal with

he only way I know of to get huge cities is to use society trait 'chosen destroyers' and the CHAOS empire skill that gives 1 pop per 3 pop of city razed

I can use this mod instead of the pop cap 50 version if you have no plans to update that version

this pop cap 100 version has a much higher pop needed per level. not that it matters if the pop is free and coming from chosen destroyers as above

I have a personal mod to increase population that I had not published to the workshop that is also not working.

What changes did you do to fix the problem? is it still on the CityDefinition_Strategic.rpk

Near future came earlier than I thought, Should be updated to latest game version. Lodge is buildable and other stuff seem to be working.

I confirm that you can't build Hero's Lodge with this mod enabled but you can build it without the mod then activate the mod.The cap will remain will remain up to the level of lodge you built.

@zamboni Yeah when I run with Chosen Destroyers it doesn't allow me to build the hero's lodge. Which is a bummer cause i got this mod to run that trait

@MusicManiac I did see the file listed, and I also did mention I was looking in that file. But I was not able to see anything in that CityDefinition_Strategic.rpk file that would alter the city cap limit, can you be a little more specific as to what you edited in that file? Thanks for this. Was playing with Chosen Destroyers for the first time and reached the city population limit of 30. Pretty annoyed at that, especially given the size of the map. Thanks for offering a fix for what is a glaring (and totally unnecessary) oversight.

@Shiori 3% increase per level would be less food required. Currently to get to 100 pop you need 2.8 mil food. With 3% increase per level you need 2.5 mil food. Please will you guys just do a little bit of math before asking for things. One guy asked for 8 mil food for last pop, now you asking to "increase" amount of food while actually suggesting decreasing it...

What did you edit in CityDefinition_Strategic.rpk to raise the Population cap? I don't see any settings in that rpk file.

8 mil food at best, lets say 10,000 food per turn is still 800 turns. what do you mean that is the point for a long game, just go out and built your own civilisation IRL if you have that kind of time.

Yea, I can do something about that.

Also, I just uploaded mod that adds Realm Trait for multiple Mega-Cities, if anyone interested. Unfortunately, It's the only way to increase annex range right now, mod dev tools are half-broken, and adjusting values in (for example) town hall upgrades - doesn't work.

In the book "Necromancy" they give you the soulwell" which gives 3 souls per turn to increase it to 10, and if you can put 4 instead of 2 the soulbound.
