An no not required, in fact originally I wanted to incorporate both mods together into 1 mod OR work on making them bouncy myself. This was always an upgrade to that mod.
I hope you find out a way to get them working together, it's worth it!.
If they use custom mesh characters then it's a no go but if not then I'd need access to their character config sheets. I know a fair few "other" mods claim incompatibility too though.
I asked this question about a year ago on the original author's page but haven't seen him respond or do anything with the mod since it released.
I mainly play on Genesis so it sucks not having my favorite immersive mod to play with.
It works on vanilla bodies only, that's bodies so if a mod replaces the original skin texture such as with nude mods then you'll be ok (I'm using nude skins too) however it won't work with custom bodies such as the Vroid race mod which uses it's own slider extension.
