@uboat_123, that is intentional. Isabella replaces him with Great Explorers enabled.
uboat_123 5 Mar @ 5:08am
Thank you! Just one more question: Julius II disappears when subscribes to great explorer mod(By JNR), is that what it's supposed to be? Do I need another mod to do it together?
Plati  [author] 4 Mar @ 8:36pm
@uboat_123, there were recent updates, I have added/changed some entries of text
uboat_123 4 Mar @ 7:53pm
I'm translating this mod into Korean while playing that mod. But I have a problem with some great people and policies coming out untranslated. I think this is the problem with this update, so please check it out!

(Also check out the comments I posted on great diplomat mod!)

I also noticed that with 6T and Extended eras, there is a temporary struggle to gain extra points during classical and post-classical era. I plan to implement more 'government-exclusive' policies for different tiers of government to give additional ways to generate sovereign points.

Besides, this would go well thematically with this great person type.
Plati  [author] 15 Feb @ 9:38am
Noticed bug with Skanderbeg, so I will patch the mod soon. Likewise, plan to introduce small Grand Eras addon (+1 Great Person for users of that mod).
Plati  [author] 4 Feb @ 3:30am
@Melvorus, wonders, policies, pantheon, government plaza and government plaza buildings
Melvorus 4 Feb @ 3:27am
How do you generate huge points?
Other then the 1 Joker Policy and the Project which is only available in 1 city I don´t really see ways to earn points?
The AI seems to get massive points, or are they just doing the Project 24/7?
NuDDen 1 Feb @ 10:29am
No probs. Anyway. U made the game better. thanks for that!
Plati  [author] 1 Feb @ 10:23am
@NuDDen, I've concluded my work with Great People expansions for now. Thanks for encouragement :sothappy:
NuDDen 1 Feb @ 9:27am
Hej Plati. Are u interested in making Great Spies urself? Sadly the other modpack has some bugs and not the quality of ur creations ;) ...
If not ... well that's ok, too!
Cheers.

@RoxyRiku94, thanks for feedback, I will take it into consideration.

As for Parameswara, the bonus is only for selected city.
RoxyRiku94 11 Jan @ 4:07pm

The same mod also moves the Diplomatic Quarter to the Diplomatic Service Civic from the Mathematics Tech, meaning the "International Nobility" policy card from Monarchy is virtually useless and you're stuck with only Meritocracy as a GP card until you actually get to build the Diplomatic Quarter in the Eras mod. The Chancery also gets unlocked later with a Modern Era Civic in the Eras mod, and by that time there's little point of using the policy when you get the next one with "Little Red Dot" from Capitalism (or even earlier by adopting a Tier 3 Government - which even comes earlier when you have JNR's Enlightenment Governments mod installed).

I'm assuming yes, but is Parameswara's Gold/Faith bonus only tied to the districts within the city itself? Would sound OP if it was from every Commercial Hub & Harbor in the empire lol)
RoxyRiku94 11 Jan @ 4:07pm
Thanks for the new update! While I haven't gotten around to try all of the new mid-game policies out yet (and nor have I gotten the new GPs with the new update, though Skanderbeg sounds really fun to use just like in EU4 XD), I do appreciate new ways of getting more Great Sovereign points since competition for them is really fierce (I've seen AI picking Heavenly Sovereign even over Religious Settlements as a pantheon).

For the Monarchy-exclusive policy being weaker than the other two government cards, while this is being balanced around Monarchy arriving earlier in the original game, such is however not the case with "JNR's 6T - Grand Eras" where all Tier 2 Governments are available in the Medieval Era.
Plati  [author] 3 Jan @ 10:23pm
@Publicola, thanks for elaborate feedback! I am glad you appreciate the introduction mid-game policies.

Monarchy card feeling weaker than other tier 2 governments is intentional - monarchy government is available earlier and has 1 more wildcard policy slot that the other two.

For city-state bonus updates, yes that will need to be done eventually.

Thanks for military policy suggestion, I will consider that too.

Is there any chance you could also update the mod to allow the Stockholm/Bologna city-state suzerainty bonus to apply to Government Plaza (and/or Diplomacy Quarter) district?

Finally, shortly before I got the update and saw your new policy cards, I had an idea of my own for a policy card bonus: +2 Great Sovereign GPP for every Military Academy (tier 3 encampment building) in your empire. This would correspond to the rise of leadership as a professional skill taught as a core class in almost all military academies the world over, as well as the proliferation of military commanders in civilian leadership roles. It's tempting to restrict this card to autocracies or military dictatorships, but the crossover between military & civilian leadership applies to all forms of governments (32 of the 45 US Presidents have served in the military, 31 with officer rank). Would you be willing to include such a policy card, perhaps unlocking with Nationalism?

Thanks again for your mod!
Publicola 3 Jan @ 4:32pm
Thanks for the update! The Oracle fix is nice, but the new policies are tremendous (my last playthrough, Great Sovereign points were severely capped, so these are a huge help).

- The 'Serenissima' policy card seems to only recognize the original six types of city-states; is there any chance you could add recognition for the extra types added by Civitas City-States?
- JNR has a mod in his 'Urban Complexity' series, that adds a Tier 4 building to the Government Plaza. Any chance you could give these buildings +4 Great Sovereign points once built?

The Monarchy-exclusive policy card (giving Great Sovereign points to the two Diplomacy Quarter buildings) seems much weaker than the cards for Merchant Republic and Theocracy; those policy cards have a much higher ceiling. I'm wondering if you'd consider giving Monarchy a different bonus (perhaps a bonus for Medieval Walls?) and just making the Diplomacy Quarter buildings give Great Sovereign points by default?
Plati  [author] 19 Dec, 2024 @ 9:08am
@RoxyRiku94, I was considering returning to the mod in near future, yes. Small tweaks/edits, including addressing reasonable idea about Deng.
RoxyRiku94 18 Dec, 2024 @ 8:14pm
Might as well add that Deng Xiaoping's policy swap, while thematically fitting, marks a nerf to Poland's Civilization Ability and Gorgo's Leader Ability as well (though the loss of a Wildcard Policy Slot hurts Poland much more than it does Gorgo tbh).
Not that it probably won't matter too much considering how late Deng becomes available in-game, but I'd recommend making the policy card slot swap of Military -> Economic to Military -> Wildcard, just in my opinion.
TameFroggy 15 Dec, 2024 @ 9:23pm
Also, the Queen's Bibliotheque isn't given any sovereign points
Publicola 14 Dec, 2024 @ 5:26pm
@Plati, any chance you could update this mod with a fix for the Oracle and Stockholm/Bologna? Thanks for making this mod; I'm going to give it a try now!
RoxyRiku94 10 Dec, 2024 @ 6:06am
@Cuntism For the Oracle GPP Issue, I can confirm that Great Sovereigns (as well as Great Entertainers from your other mod) do not receive the +2 GPP bonus from the Oracle due to missing the MODIFIER_SINGLE_CITY_DISTRICTS_ADJUST_GREAT_PERSON_POINTS modifier for the respective districts (Govt. Plaza & Entertainment Complex for Great Entertainers).

Pretty sure it applies to Bologna as well since there is no modifier that would be applied to Bologna.
MarshmallowBear 9 Nov, 2024 @ 9:08am
I was really confused until I realised that the Etnertainers and Sovereiegns share part of the unique GUId for the mod xD
laplasian 4 Nov, 2024 @ 2:02am
Very good mod. Perhaps the creator of the mod might find the following idea interesting: Is it possible to create a Great Person (a sovereign type would be best) whose ability would be to grant the player a unique Policy Card (not a policy slot!)? I tried to create such a modifier once, but my knowledge was not enough to implement it.
Pacs 3 Nov, 2024 @ 3:09pm
One small bug I've noticed when using this mod (which I love) is that Solomon's bonus production to temples only counts for cities which you have settled yourself, not those which you have conquered. I've tried it with both preexisting and newly built holy sites, neither seem to gain the bonus.
NuDDen 2 Nov, 2024 @ 3:04am
Thx!
Plati  [author] 1 Nov, 2024 @ 9:35pm
Update released, see updated screenshots.

@NuDDen, I think by tomorrow
NuDDen 1 Nov, 2024 @ 2:17am
When? :D We wanted to start a new game in the evening ... :D
Plati  [author] 1 Nov, 2024 @ 1:44am
I will be releasing update soon, both fixing Alfred and giving more unique and fun bonuses to few Sovereigns. Save incompatibility almost guaranteed.
katzemancer 4 Sep, 2024 @ 12:05am
Love the mod! I did notice what seems to be a bug however with Alfred the Great, it seems that the free promotion for all naval units also applies on unit upgrade, which well, let me very easily get near max promotions on almost all my naval units, made for a very op sweep of a domination victory but I'd imagine isn't intentional XD
Shyning 27 Aug, 2024 @ 12:24pm
I am very fond of this mod and the ideas in it!
But some powers are really, really strong (Asoka, Meiji, Zayed ...), I fear they can rapidly be game breaking... but I will try it out nonetheless, the others are a really cool addition and I like the idea of Great Persons as Sovereigns!
Plati  [author] 26 Aug, 2024 @ 11:43am
Overhauled the mod quite a bit in recent updates. Created an icon for those not using real great people mods plus a number of other features - see Changelog.
Plati  [author] 26 Aug, 2024 @ 5:41am
@herecomedatpepe, as NuDDen correctly added, his full bonus can be utilized by using that mod.

However, even without it, his ability is still quite formidable - extra promotion for all naval units is impressive. The extra science and culture is a nice minor boost considering you would spend one (or two, with mod) district slot for maritime activity.
herecomedatpepe 25 Aug, 2024 @ 11:49pm
How does Alfred work? Encampments and Arsenals are mutually exclusive
Plati  [author] 25 Aug, 2024 @ 3:52pm
Thank you @Alzon, I fixed it. I incorrectly attached the modifier to player cities rather than player himself. It is now as intended
Alzon 25 Aug, 2024 @ 3:27pm
The Heavenly Sovereign pantheon is granting one Great Sovereign point per city, doubled in a Golden Age. Utterly bonkers. Maybe change it so it's the palace that provides this yield instead?
Plati  [author] 25 Aug, 2024 @ 7:01am
@uboat_123, yes I am updating the description and screenshots now
uboat_123 24 Aug, 2024 @ 8:30pm
alfred the great and deng xiaoping is need other mod or game mode?
Alzon 24 Aug, 2024 @ 1:01pm
An arsenal and an encampment can't be built in the same city. This means Alfred the Great's arsenal adjacency can't be tripled.
Nandybear 11 Aug, 2024 @ 7:55pm
@ahmedaboulenein To the right, box with "Required DLC". At least on desktop
ahmedaboulenein 7 Aug, 2024 @ 9:15pm
"Required DLC and mods listed below." Where?

So I'm having an issue with this mod.

I'm getting the following error in my userinterface log:
[DataError] IconManager is unable to find the icon "ICON_UNIT_GREAT_GreatSovereigns" at size "22"
[DataError] IconManager is unable to find the icon "ICON_UNIT_UNKNOWN" at size "22"

It seems like an icon isn't being loaded in correctly, and it's causing my game to go into a tailspin and crash. Pls help x.x

Darius I description says 100 production, but he delivers 180, correct?
Nandybear 2 Mar, 2024 @ 4:09am
Oracle's doubling of points is by genre, not GPP in general. ORACLE_GREATWRITERPOINTS ORACLE_GREATPROPHETPOINTS etc. so it'd need a new modifier to work
