For the changing player model hands, a remedy is to use the c_hand generator mod. It generates c_hands for the player model you are using automatically for you. It is useful.

But yes, my C-hands change to the player models hands designated for that specific model when I put on the suit, I don't want that to happen.

HEV suit was basically Xen battlefield equipment.

I think the PCV worked better with no voice because that could give its user away in combat.

the HEV had a voice module likely because it was more a spruced-up hazmat and not battlefield equipment.
