I want to make one of my own, but the guide is both confusin', and a little outdated.
Tier 2 that need 1 i definitively agree this that.
Actually and by default the game propose to begin a new branch by tier 2, without learning any T1 before. I hope the triumph will fix this.
It promotes homogeneity among factions while still allowing variations. Factions now have stricter definitions. It avoids repetitive play against factions that act similarly despite their supposed variations.
Feztis's restrictions also provide more player agency. Overcoming the restrictions is possible, but it requires effort. And it costs. The player must consider their options, particularly in the early-mid game. Normally, research compensates for poor tome selection, but this mod necessitates careful planning. It shifts the tome-selection dynamic away from 'gotta catch 'em all'.
Is this behavior a problem for the AI or the player? Or is this just a purely visual thing?
