I put out a guide in the Jazztronauts discord if you're willing to go full in-depth. But basically all I do is decompile the Jazztronaut cat models, and then paint over their texture sheet. The only modelling I do is the little hair tufts or accessories that need to be added on. Otherwise the model stays exactly the same.
