You need to mount this addon first, then mount the weapons pack. I also don't own that addon, I only made this extension for it.

i borrowed a pair from a friend and it the audio quality feels like a cold 3 am glass of water, its insane. and yes, i can hear these sound as HD now haha
only thing is they somehow sound even crisper than the half life 2 ones, which i like

sorry, turns out my headphones were severely damaged and for the past 9 years i've been hearing everything on the internet in unimaginably low & glitchy quality which made the hd sounds of gmod sound as shit as the sounds from half life one. apologies

the base HL2 ones. it could be a mounting issue with HL:S or a conflicting addon which could be this or another. I don't have the HD HL1 explosion sounds addon installed either to clarify. I even already have an explosion sound replacement, tried messing with load orders with a few addons, and nothings worked.

Got weird high pitched noises instead of your HD sounds? Type snd_restart in the console to reload the sound cache and fix the issue!
