Small update for the Watcher patch!

-Defense Mode - Turn to Stone now gives 2 Retaliation Attacks instead of 1.
(This is due to the Gargoyle being able to now retaliate while in Defense Mode.)

Just tested this on the open beta, and it seems like I'm still getting +1 Retaliation Attacks while on Defense mode! That's really weird that it doesn't work for you. :S

Do you mind if we move this conversation to either Mod Compatibility or Bug Reports, so that we're not notifying everyone that's subscribed to the mod, while trying to troubleshoot what's happening?

That could be a possibility! I haven't tested this on the open beta yet, and mods are not guaranteed to work there unfortunately.

Your mod loads first. I have tried various load orders with your mod being in the middle or at the bottom, but it still doesn't work.

I can't seem to replicate the issue when running this mod with the others that you've listed. Is there a particular load order that you're using?

Doesn't seem to work for me. Running a few more mods with this one, namely XP UI Improvements, Elite and Legend Medals Explained, More Realm Traits, 25% Movement Speed, Status Effects Explained and Expanded Hero traits. Could some of these mods cause your mod not to work?

Mhm! I like that Taunt now actually allows you to retaliate with as many attacks as you would take, and the extra retaliation attack stacking with Watchful is always a plus.

blaque_czar Oh interesting! So units could always retaliate 3 times, regardless of whether they were in a defensive posture or not? Flanking nullifying 1 retaliation seems like a cool idea, might look around and see if I can't make a mod similar to that!

Update Version 1.1 is out!

Changes:
-Defense Mode - Protective Wall now gives 2 Retaliation Attacks instead of 1. ( Thanks KoenigWolf! )

This update should be safe to apply to current Singleplayer playthroughs!

Hi Komogi, enjoying the mod so far. I did notice that Iron Golems didn't get the extra retaliation when in defense mode.

It could be because they use Defense Mode: Protective Wall

Komogi It actually had retaliation attacks that used all 3 action pips, so it was always a back and forth if an enemy attacked, and flanking only nullified 1 retaliation. The game had some interesting ideas, especially with storytelling as there were more in depth side stories out in the world, but AOW4 just scratches the Conqueror Mage itch in every other way

blaque_czar No problem at all! I'm not exactly familiar with SpellForce: Conquest of Eo, does it not have retaliation attacks similar to AoW4?
