If you need help you can also ask the members of the Stonehearth ACE Discord server. Look at some Stonehearth ACE project topics at discourse.stonehearth.net to get a link to their server.
I have been trying to look up video's with no luck as I would love to work on a gothic / vampire themed mod, but aside from just recently learning how to replace assets from other mods I have no clue where to even start with Stonehearth.
You can search the titles online, for your own copy:

@Monk : This kingdom needs someone to be a Farmer , who has the knowledge of learning crops to plant. The Peasants join in to help with planting and harvesting as part of their Job task (enable/disable as needed). This job setup allows for compatibility with using a re-embarked Farmer from another Kingdom still being usable without bugs.
If you have ACE mod, you have the button command to switch weapon type preferences. If playing vanilla Stonehearth, then sorry, but you'd have to change their job to non-Knight or non-Footman for them to drop it. Then it would have to be quickly destroyed, or sold if you don't want them to use it again, and instead craft the highest level one-hand Steel Katana, or Ornate Katana. Using those, they can then equip an offhand item like the Legendary Gorudu Charm, or a Tanto blade.
Also, don't craft the Naginata or Nodachi weapons, because they are also 2-handed types for Samurai.

I think that would only happen if you didn't have the Rayya's Children mod enabled, which is a base mod that comes with the game.
This mod needs the normal base game mods enabled as well, because some recipes get unlocked from them when reaching town Tier 3 and choosing a Shrine - there is a mixture of recipes unlocked.
Please enable these base game mods in Local Mods column:
[Radiant Core Library, Stonehearth, Northern Alliance, Rayyas Children]
c++ exception: invalid file path '/rayyas_children/jobs/weaver/recipes/banner_wall_small_recipe.json'.
If you switch off ACE mod, please close the game completely afterward, before trying to run in vanilla Stonehearth again.
Also, don't try to load a saved game that was already using ACE mod, without ACE mod enabled, because many things won't work right after doing that. You have to start a brand new town in that case.
Unfortunately, the game has these problems from time to time, and sometimes a saved game has to be reloaded a couple times before it starts working too.
are hats fixed here xD
