@Ardúnadan I presume there are, but I am severely lacking in time (or desire to engage with CK3, to be honest - IMO it needs a massive rewrite I can't provide)

I would guess that it would require a special patch - you can try and cross-ref mod files to see if After the End changes the same things

@Clemente it is fair enough, but sometimes in my mod the precursor child event does not give the new trait by itself

@De Mon on vanilla, they use a "child_personality.keeps_TRAIT_tt" custom tooltip for each trait
E.g. child_personality.1012 on the mod uses it for Patient

"Does not change their ways" means that tge child keeps the traits in their character sheet. I'm not sure there is a way to show the trait which was already assigned

On child events, could you display the actual trait the child is gaining instead of the "does not change their ways" tooltip, like how the vanilla events do?

@Открывашка it does not, as the eccentric trait was added after the children part was developed. However, back then there were no specific eccentric trait events among the vanilla "choice of 3" children events - I'll double-check how it's handled now

@De Mon aha, then its only your mods who use "00_ep1_hold_court_effects".

Regardless, the question i began with. The "editor" options shown below the dialogue options, are these from this mod or a seperate mod? If seperate mod can i use them to see if the mod is working as intended?

Is there a "easy" way to look through mods via files on hand?

Essentially, what might cause the issue is a mod which also modifies the same file (the one I indicated). So if you can find one, it could be the one to blame for this disruption

@avVE I've tried all three mods in all compositions, and my court events worked every time, so not quite sure how to help, sorry. If you are really willing to do a deep dive, you can look whether any other mod affects 00_ep1_hold_court_effects.txt in common\scripted effects - this is the only place which can cause REvents for court to not trigger properly

yeah. Royal Court for Dukes and Royal Court Event Pack but i know One proud Brazilian stated its compatible with your mod.. beside that i dont have any.

How does the royal court events work? I can't get seem to get the event options or the adjustments option shown in the preview picture described in the mod.

Good news 1: I will release update next week, I'm almost done with going through the code, also need some testing

Good news 2: Paradox follows the mindset of the mod now! The stupid one-off jokes are being removed from the lists of triggered events, never to return.

I started encountering characters with less than 3 personality traits. Sometimes (not often) I saw characters that have none at all.

@00rosie I'll look into it one day, deal! But essentially, makinh a compatch is very easy - you look into the files which are modified by both mods, and then merge the changes
