ArcCW is better
you don't shed blood if hit while protected
Makes sense. I don't know lua and don't have a way of opening the addon that lets me see its lua, so I'm just asking these questions plainly:
Does damage affect the penetrative capability of a bullet? If so, how much?
How much does the number of armor points affect it? What is the minimum and maximum protection against 20 damage?
What do you mean by "You don't bleed while protected"?
works just fine with counter strike source weapons (the one which I calculated DR from for this mod), don't use ARC9 and other sub-human garbage weapon bases as they tend to have horrible damage values
How much has damage protection been increased?
the player still takes 20% of the damage while the remaining 80% is taken by the armor itself, this is fine for HL2 damage values which can go from 2-10, but does not work well with custom weapon packs for gmod because addon devs want high damage, 20% of 60 is still 12 damage per hit ignoring armor damage itself.
its more of a problem with weapon packs than the system itself basically.
