can you please enable pawns with sun requirement gene to be kept alive with sun lamp if unable to reach direct sunlight.

Hello! It looks like your Xenotype mods are missing loadafter rules for your xenotype mods that use Genes+ It should work normally but mod sorters like to put your gene mod after the xenotype mod for some reason leading to a bunch of errors.
Unrelated to that, you get a couple of these errors from loading all your xenotype mods in the proper order.
"Config error in PrimarisGeneSeed: Multiple gene categories share the same displayPriorityInXenotype. This can cause display order issues."

The hibernation gene doesn't seem to do anything.

does the hibernation gene effect their sleep fall rate, or does it actually make them incapacitated where theyre awake and just cant move?

Hi, how does the hibernation genes work? I have a pawn with winter hibernation on, and its the middle of winter with no effect. Can anyone please help me?

Since this mod requires the Biotech DLC, could you please add the following code to the modDependencies node of your About.xml file?

This will ensure that the game displays the correct warnings if a player tries to run Genes+ without Biotech.

Thanks for the mod! The description says that this mod also adds xenotypes. Can you tell which xenotypes have been added.

I have an issue with Photosynthesis (I always wanted to write that phrase):
while it does work out in the open, during the day, it doesn't work with sunlight lamps, nor under skylights (mod: Dub's Skylights).
Same goes for Sun Requirement.
When checking, there is a slight lag for Photosynthesis switching. So, the steps to reproduce are:
- Recruit a pawn.
- Get pawn outside in the sun. Photosynthesis is active.
- Get pawn inside, in range of a sun lamp, or under a skylight.
- Wait e.g. 1 hour in-game time.
- Photosynthesis is inactive (out of sunlight).

Rationale: if sun lights and skylights are good enough for crops, shouldn't they be enough for these genes?
Suggestion: it seems to me plants only check the level of light, not the actual source of light. If it's 100%, it's good. Could that be either the default, or an option for this mod?

Hey, how does the hibernation gene work? It's currently winter in my game (not decembary, winter) but my pawn doesnt seem to be affected at all. Half way into the quadrum, too. Am I not understanding something or is it likely a mod conflict?

might have commented this before i don't remember but i feel like the enhanced talking seeing and hearing genes need a higher metabolism cost or should be lowered to 150 percent instead of 200.

I just downloaded your mod for the first time a few days ago, so it shouldn't be outdated, but in the doubt I tested again (unsub, supressing the files, sub), once again without any other mod.

I have the same problems, so I don't know. The fact that I have the jelly production bug seems to indicate there is something weird going on.

Anyway, I will use what is working correctly. Have a nice day.

Update the mod, the problem with jelly production has been fixed for a very long time.

The gene for turning off mood is an archogen. Click the corresponding checkbox in the genotype creation menu. It is on the bottom right.

Yes, there is an operation to remove the parasite.

Hello, nice mod with nice genes, however excretion genes seems to have some problems:
-For chemfuel excretion, it indicate it's jelly and it seems incredibly slow (during my test It increased by something like 0.1%/day).
-For jelly production the description is "TODO".

If you look closely, you will notice that these are multipliers. If your armor is 0, then even with the multiplier it will be 0.

Plasteel Leather skin doesn't seem to add any additional sharp or blunt armor as it says in the tooltip. Even when naked both are at zero.

awesome mod! I've got the Fruit Bearing gene on some colonists, is it meant to be harvestable? The fruit on the fruit branch grows steadily from 0.1% to 100% ripeness, but then instantly disappears and begins regrowing from zero, never giving me a button or option to harvest it. Am I missing something? Cheers
