i hear random props break as i play the map. I never spawned in anything, i was exploring the map not touching stuff. also is it intentional that there are some rooms with props knocked everywhere?

did anyone else see an npc walk by on the 3rd floor office when inside the bigger factory, then said npc fading away? i had just loaded into the map when this happened

Generally, the plan is to update all the old maps I made, but currently I'm in the process of collecting for a new computer + I started going to work so I don't have much time to play with Hammer.

also change the shadow distance to 10. trust me on this please your map will look so much better

if you want to fix the shadow_control consider changing the angles to (35 115 0) and re-enabling all shadows

The map is playable on my PC with somewhat stable 60-80 fps, but it could use some optimization. If you didn't know, use mat_wireframe 1 for debbuging purposes. This command shows you every leaf and model that renders. Considering the amount of windows on each side of the building, it'll be hard to fix it, though possible. I can recomend trying placing func_areaportalwindow on wndows, for doors (you can use it for doorways too, but I'm not exactly sure how it'll work) use func_areaportal. Although they have a certain amount limit, you should't worry about it too mauch since your map is quite small. Another way of solving the issue would be placing hints. They're hard to explain, so it's better to look on Valve Developer Wiki https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Hint_brush . NOTE: I am by no means a specialist in mapping, so I might be completely wrong. Correct me if I'm wrong in any way.

I played this map earlier and killed some npcs. It was fun! However map lags a little when looking at building (my PC is bad) and I am quite dissatisfied that I didn't find a jump scare. I felt like I wanted to be scared out of my seat today. :(
