Are the Shrike drone fighters meant to have access to glide bombs? The MLS2D weapons bay says that it can mount S2 glide bombs, but Aegir doesn't have access to any. Was this intentional?

The flickering is an ancient bug that I'm like 55% sure is the base game's fault. the Carrier update has made it more aggressive but it has always been there.

It has no actual mechanical impact and I wouldn't even know where to look for a potential fix so I just don't. I also haven't had them happen in a game in months.

There seems to be some flickering with the MQ-09, MQ-09b and AAC(P)-10 in the editor and during testing... weirdly, the flickering stops once the start shooting at something...
also the MBS-3B00 Rampart missile is GIANT when its shot, which looks suuuper strange

there appears to be a visual bug in the editor when you equip anything with the HBC Heavy Beam Cannon (spinal mount) that causes the ship to become invisible at certain angles. picture can be found here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3413723593

I've noticed an odd issue where plasma projectiles don't make impact sounds, and beam turrets seem to not make sounds when firing or impacting either. Thrusters are also very loud.

Content-wise, I'm wondering if there's any intention to have larger beam turrets to have a completely beam-based ship, because it seems at least on the tanager that it's either plasma cannons or the alliance's particle beam on its 4 huge slots.

Nice stuff so far with the carriers update, The drone bays are a VERY nice feature honestly, however they uh dont seem to actually repair craft, unless its bound to only repairing the drones from this mod. Any other type just get the blue bar but never actually repair

seconded on taking the time you need to push out a good update. This is one of my favorite Nebulous mods and as much as I'd like to see carrier stuff with it I also want the devs to take their time and not get burned out.

There are indeed plans to update this mod for the advent of Carriers, however these plans have no definite date as they depend largely on the mod team having the drive to work on it without getting burned out

if you ever decide to add fighter to this mod maybe take inspiration from the Cylons from BSG with this factions fighter being a drone that has a similar shape to the classic raider.

Lol my bad I'm a dumbass, I forgot I had your mod with the standalone Probe class ship and that one has the old 2x2x2 CIC. Gotta say the fightercraft are a sick addition to both this mod and the game as a whole, especially since you gave them proper guns for more standoff versatility.

Hey, maybe I am missing something but I think the new cheap drones need their AI cores changed from 1x1x1 to 2x2x2 as there is not currently something that fits there that fulfills the need for a CIC to control the ship. Other than that though the update is rad, I've been tweaking for light fighter craft in this game for an age.

I cant seem to find the Aegir reactors/engines when im building using Aegir as my faction, I also cant see the reactors and engines in any other faction as well. I saw them the other day but I cant find them now.

We did test them in game a few times, mostly with him using LACs, I suppose the stat cards always lie. They're more balanced than I was led to believe, and I think my friends are just mad I keep whooping them lmao. It really felt like they didnt do anything when I was using them, but they were complaining to no end. Sorry for the confusion, they're fine.

Solarian Federation is a notoriously unbalanced mod that has struggled with being horribly overpowered itself in the past. I would not be surprised if in the process of nerfing them, their developer had overcorrected.

Just had a friend look at the stats of the C2 lasers that just got added. Upon comparing them to the Solarian Federation faction's lasers, we unanimously concluded that the Aegir lasers are completely bonkers. The Solarian C5 laser outputs less armor pen for slightly more damage with a 50s default cooldown. I formally request a bit of alteration to these lasers to put them more inline with a frigate-killing role as opposed to unmatched anti-capital power.

I got the Alicorn banned from fightnights on the official discord because I made a fucking SARH spamming HEKP nightmare out of it. It lagged the match so much that the enemy's PD controller stopped functioning properly. Was funny.

I am trying to combo this with torpedos and the 6x6 can simply not fit enough on the battleship to justify its use.

Hi just here to ask, why is the "Eminent Domain" 15000 point to field?

It is not really appealing as a boss or sandbox ship over other options.
I can get the same firepower out of cheaper options.
Would be nice if it was closer to other boss ships in cost.

Or you could buff it immensely as balance is not of concern for the other boss ships like Gilgamesh or Olympus.

Yeah the BB spinals. The plasma seems to be able to take out base-game ships (no matter the size) and modded ones within just a few shots.
