@TheColorGreen there could be a few reasons the map does not show up on your map. The most common cause for the issue is having any map mods that affects the same tiles as another. Make sure you don't have any conflicting mods taking up tiles 45 x 4 or 46 x 4. If you are attempting to load this mod into a preexisting save it won't be as simple as turning it on in the menu. The game creates the world as you get close to tiles and generates map data on save start. Therefore it will not appear in game. There are a few guides online that do have work arounds for this though. I do highly suggest trying to load the mod solo to confirm that it works for you. Zomboid can get weird with mods enabled together even if there connection is minimal.

Yeah I just loaded up your mod and it's deadass not where the map shows it. I was really looking forward to it too. Is there some special way to get it to show up?

@Hudi_Who Found it! It will take me weeks to recover from the face palm I gave myself when I realize what I did. I thought you were indicating the location with the red GPS dot.... Totally my bad. In my defense there Is a large open field there... I guess I don't know the vanilla map well enough to know that those structures by the river weren't vanilla. Sorry to waste your time.

When it comes to the changes for this map they will be implemented shorty after my other map releases on build 42. I already have the house pretty much set and i really just need the new map tools to add undergrounds and other build 42 elements.

@xDice As of right now there is no plans to tear down that side of the house. However there is plans to rework the base once build 42 map tools release. Ill take this suggestion into account and implement something to that extent. Once I get the tools a bunch of new stuff will be added.

@Hudi_Who so question is there any way to be able to take down the right side of the base? like delete this part of the house to make in lot parking prob ? i tried to use sleg on the roof but it didnt let me to delete those brick roof panels

@FeeNiX I'm not to sure why you're running into that issue. I'll look into the issue more tm when I have some time. From my small tests though, I've had no issues. I loaded around 10 maps mostly surrounding the Louisville area and or maps that caused issues do to other issues in the past. However from that test no issues cropped up. I'll expand the list and see if i can't find a proper solution rather than loading it solo. However that is something I'd suggest doing just to make sure it works fully to some capacity. It could always be a map mod you have that just so happens to tamper or edit some elements of that area leading to issues. Can't be 100% tho zomboid can be finicky at times and I apologize for the inconvenience experienced by the bug.

I have the empty area on the map as well. Other than vanilla Lousiville, nothing else occupies 46,4 and 45,4. I'm running a pile of map mods however.

If you are only using this map mod then I cant see any reason it wouldn't load. Id try loading a game with only this enabled and trying to see if it spawns in for you then. Only thing that i can think of that would make the map not spawn would be having any mod that messes with the tiles listed above. I really hope you are able to find a fix and I'm sorry i can't be of more help.

I activated the mod on my zomboid but when I got to the location there was nothing, can you help me? I don't use other map mods, only the one with extra icons

There are plans to update this map. Once i get the new mapping tools i will be doing a simple update to get the map working on the new build. Then i will go back through and add a slew of new things for player to experience. I really enjoy the idea of a bunker and will be sure to have a lil surprise for you when the rework comes. I do want to preface that my main focus at this time is to finish and release a new base. The complete rework for this map will come after the release of that. No fear though i will be getting this working for the new build as soon as i can get my hands on the new mapping tools. I will also slowly make progress towards the rework for this mod while focusing on the new base to try and get both out as quickly as I can. I very much appreciate you playing the map and leaving a comment. All suggestions are welcome and will be taken into consideration.:cozytreshcone:

Chromaa check to see if you have any map mods that may be conflicting with the maps location (46x4 for the actual house). Also try loading just this map mod by itself to see if that fixes the issue. I am able to see the map when loading it alone. If that is the case for you after trying check for conflicts.

The new base is also based off of real world blueprints so I hope this choice will also lead to a better overall structured home.

Thank you very very much nerdal im glad your problem was solved and extremely glad to hear you like the base!!! Keep your eyes peeled for shortly after build 42 as I’ll have another house/base for you to hopefully enjoy as much as this one. Will be a lil more mansion based than straight loaded base, so hopefully that pleases the masses might also do two versions One with sectioned rooms like this and one set up as a standard home for people to morph

I managed to do, thank you very much for your attention friend! To solve it,iI managed to create a new save like you said and just add the base mods and it worked and then i add the other mods

i havent heard of that happening. Are you trying to load the mods in a preexisting save? If so that does not work and you need to restart your save. I think Ive heard of a way to avoid this but im not to sure on how that all works. The only other thing i could think of is if you are using a server and added the mod in either steam workshop page or mods page and it didn't activate on the other leading to it loading wrong on the server or not loading at all. been a lil since ive played the game super constantly so sorry if im a lil off on this. however these are the only things that come to mind when i hear your problem

Thanks for responding, I only tried with this map mod alone and I couldn't. I tried to do it with two other mod bases alone, and I couldn't do it either. I think something must be preventing this.

46 x 4 is the house its self so any mods affecting the mall should only affect 45 x 4 and should have no affect on this mod other than possibly breaking my mapping in cell 45 x 4 so the new road wont full appear.

It appears fine for me. Id try disabling all other mods and seeing if it at least works solo. If it works solo one of your other mods is affecting the same cells(45 x 4 46 x 4).

Could you check something. Everytime I use your mod it puts something on my map at cell 36,28. When I go there, I find nothing. But the map shows a lake and some buildings.

Sorry for the lack of response. With the new coming update I am happy to announce I will be beginning work on a new base project. One more centralized in the map allowing for easier travel through the whole map. My plan is to make the new base larger than this one. built for a slightly larger group size. I will use what i have heard from the community and what I've learned through the mistakes of this one to hopefully bring a beautiful base mod. Please Leave any suggestions below id love to hear any and all ideas!

To answer a few of the questions posted. The spawn for the map is in a field south of the actual house. It is to the right of the Louisville mall just off the small parking lot for the walking trail. From my experience trying to add this or any map mod to any pre-exciting save doesn't load the new map added even if cells haven't been discovered (This could be wrong). This map is conflicting with "Pitstop" and "FO4 Sanctuary". However these mods do not seem to add anything to this location so i will not be moving the location. The third floor can be gotten to by entering the guest house through the balcony and taking the stairs up.

Located in Louisville next to the Ohio mall n river no conflicts ive found looks good even shows on the map it does cut off some of the small trail along the river but meh worth it
