I've redownloaded it a few times and even tried on another PC so i don't think it's an issue on my end. :( I don't want my orange boy to die. Halp.
Where does the original get stronger, if the pet version gets the possibility to be healed like you heal crew.
You can specify the HP which should get more, because the original already has 100 HP, the others only 30 HP.

If this is not a separate species, then it would have to be recreated so that it exists independently of the originals.

The original 4 have , 150 HP , 150 HP , 60 HP , 300 HP.

why is this?
In the wiki it is called "Petraptor", so I don't know if that is what is meant, if it is a different one you could add it to this mod.
If it is the same, where would the originals be changed, they are not automatically healed by the crew because they are not part of the crew and are hostile, the player has to heal pirates and hidden enemies that are captured.
And eat, if the healing is over time it doesn't matter because you are trying to stop the originals from eating the crew.
The mod does not change the behaviour of the pets yet, so the eating mechanic of the original has nothing to do with the original mudraptors.
But these 5 of the 6 Pets, should rather not try to fight than attack opponents who have attacked their owner, because their attacks are extremely weak, so only fight in extreme cases when they take damage themselves.

It is still missing that you can heal the battle pet "Petraptor" like the others.
New can only be done with an egg and the perks of the assistant, so it is late and time consuming with several steps.

Or i can for some reason use this mod and heal my pets with less cost/effective medical items via health meny
Also i can just use syringes as melee weapons and still inject whatever i want into a pet without this mod
Pets still have high eating health regen, they can heal up more than 10 times from 1 saline.
This mod is a clear example of a developer who tries to modify the game before even playing it once.
The problem with mudraptor is that there is no "pet mudraptor", only regular "mudraptor". So if I change mudraptor pet, all mudraptors will change.
So I think this should be a separator mod. I can make a separate mod for mudraptor if you wish
