On my play-thru i noticed the city can be dark at night so i went ahead and placed lights on each of the buildings. It took some time but it was worth it if you're willing.

Another game play suggestion i think is a necessity that im sure you've thought of already would be the addition of small Vagrant/Drifter gangs varying in level that would help keep the city alive. (basically a faction we can beat up that aren't allied with the city and wont start a city wide brawl)

Love this place! Like a floating refugee camp. Immediately sent a guy up there to buy a house and set up a shop, and the people get around town pretty well, surprisingly. Though I have noticed tech hunters and wandering garru herds getting stuck around and beneath the junk shop.

@Lupe Fenris Maybe ask the genesis ppl for a patch if you can't do one. It's an easy thing, it's just inconvenient to do while you are actively playing.

We are currently working on Ver 3 which represents a vibrant village.

Apart from that, we plan to create a story that matches the worldview of Kenshi as Ver 4, about why the frontier villages are prospering.

It looks great! Any plans to add traders other than the bartenders? It could go a long way to making this feel like a proper city, but it might be hard to indicate which buildings have traders

Im loving the city so far, If you add some shops to buy/steal from it can make being a shinobi thief in the city more viable. Just a suggestion!

In Ver 2, we made changes to allow players to purchase houses.
Other changes include adjusting the number of villagers and moving the water tower because it was interfering with trees and the water tower.
