basically; while I was making the pac3 i bone merged a model in pac3 over the base ragdoll; then coloured the base ragdoll invisible; leaving just the pac3 model that I bone merged on visible; after that I used the pac3 model as a base for the rest of him.

Also how did you make the base model invisible without everything disappearing?

Not sure, maybe check the tools settings.
