@ragnarok88 I already DM’d you, but just to follow up, something like this is definitely planned. Right now, most of my attention is on the newly released Talada, but I’ve been testing some concepts for foxholes and dugouts in Arma 3. You can check out a preview here: https://imgur.com/a/6x9XSQF . So I’ve got some working pieces, I just need to find time to focus on finishing them. :goldclick:

Firstly I would like to thank you for your ideas if you have any other ideas for this project let me know on my Steam or there is a specific thread for suggestions and ideas. Specific work on AI pathfinding start in next updates, but the AI should work on released models, because when I tested AI behavior in tunnels I don't reach any problems.

These are great, the fact that AI can properly navigate them makes these extremely useful. I hope you'll add some wider hallways or some larger rooms eventually. Maybe also some that could be used for building tunnels, like parts with a wall on just one side and some corners?

I think you are missing footstep sounds when the player is waliking trough tunels.

@Ellman Yes, it FATA Tunnels, but those seem to be broken and dont work with AI. Not sure how this works with em.

All the more reason placeable "terrain" objects would be very useful to be able to use objects like these tunnels. Sadly ArmA still doesn't have a detailed enough terrain editor to be able to add compositions that are supposed to be below ground level, so this is the most viable option. I really don't understand why no one has ever done this before.

This addon is supposed to be used for mission editors and map makers as modular model parts that can be combined to user preferred composition.

Awesome, this mod has infinite potential! Could I make a couple of suggestions? It would be nice if you added some "dirt blocks" of different sizes and shapes. Even using Deformer, I find that on many occasions the terrain deformation is too watery to integrate naturally into my trench or in this case tunnel compositions. Some large rectangles, squares and triangles should be enough to create an artificial surface where to place our tunnels or trenches. Some of low altitude (25cm) would also help to create artificial soil to be able to add different levels between the mounds and trenches.

AI shouldn't be a problem. In the testing I have done, AI don't be able to see through the walls. If you will have any problem using this addon, please let me know and I will try to fix that in the future updates.
