After the Ogre, it seems producing a King's Guard considerably slows down the game. I would really appreciate it if you could look into the matter.

Make sure you update to the most recent version. The missing parts is specifically why I had to update the mod. I just tested on my end as well, and everything is there

I noticed today that after the golem game update my game save file is 4x bigger than it would be with 76 added mods compared to the 24 basic mods I 'must have' to play the game

your mod did not add all of that but to a two player small map save file it adds 340 kb. that may not sound like much but prior to the golem update this is over 1.5x the 220 kb entire save file size for a two player small map game

please post if you can figure out how to fix this. until then I am forced to turn off this mod (along with other save file space hogs)

I found two mods that add tomes that do NOT increase the save file size. perhaps they have a method or two you can use

Tome of Spiders (id=2973595407)
Tomes of Radiance (id=2980547647)

Theoretically the AIs should select the new Tomes if they match the proper affinity; basically every AI has a primary affinity assigned to it (For instance, Demonic Warlords are Chaotic). So like in the case of this Tome, theoretically a primary Order affinity Feudal AI should pick it sometimes. I haven't confirmed that however

hi Kaige, I would like to know if the AIs in a game were also looking for and above all using all these new tomes of magic that all the modders created in fact in the battles and the general map so as not to unbalance the balance of power between the AIs and the player ?

Currently, it seems like there is a bug causing the tome to be able to be selected by any culture during faction creation. I tested this with no other mods enabled, and I still ran into this issue.

@Maal same, only times I've had a crash with this was when I had the open beta active and was testing which mods worked on it and the occasional one during the launch of the game. Probably they have some corrupted or missing files and hasn't checked or something.

Not sure which drugs that person was on, went on a spray on tons of mods saying the same bullshit lol. I wasn't having any crash despite using every single tome mods released before any was updated!

But thanks for all the updating to fix small things here and there that appeared with the D:C!

Probably almost all Subscribers to his mod are inactive players. Because the rest of us have learned the hard way recently that any mod which messes with tomes, NOT UPDATED, is just another goddam CRASH TO DESKTOPwaiting to happen.

there is a bug with oath of fealty. it says it applies to my feudal units. it did not apply to my feudal non ruler hero units. of my 26 non hero feudal units it said it would apply to only 19 of them before the spell was cast. sure enough after the spell was cast some of my feudal units are missing this enchant

is it really supposed to apply to ALL my feudal units? is so perhaps a better way to apply it is as a minor race transform. it would first apply to your starting feudal race and then to any other feudal race for which you have become race keeper

OH... I thought it was going to be in the pool along with everything else, and non feudal AI were going to train it, sometimes. Well... never mind, then. I still wish this wasn't a culture specific tome, but... ceste la vie. It looks fun, I'll try it out. Thanks.

I'm very confused by your comment. What do you mean the AI training up skills it can't use? You can't select this tome unless you're Feudal culture.

I love the idea of a tome that buffs your leader and works around them... this tome has some cool mechanics. But, the fun part about tomes is combining them together for interesting combos... or just to flesh out the faction the way you want it. Why have TWO skills that limit it to only one culture? Not only does that guarantee that I won't use this (because the combo has already been chosen for me) but I wouldn't even want to add this to my game because I don't want the AI training up skills it can't use. I wish you hadn't made this feudal-only, it looks like a lot of fun otherwise.

This looks excellent. A capital-only building or spell that targets/gets benefits from vassals would be a good addition, I think.

The spells from this tome are showing up as available when you aren't feudal. I double-checked by turning off all mods except this one.

Probably a super-mod that combines several of my mods into one, with some additional features like scaling research costs, because I'm starting to get to a point where mods I want to make would be incompatible with previous mods I've made

No it should, because there's a requisite, "Feudal Requisite" that should be attached to any new Feudal units
