The original kunai has metal materials, and I have never been able to handle this type of skin because it requires specular reflection（env_map）, but specular reflection often loses its effect in certain areas of the map

Export all the contents of the vpk to a folder, then edit the vmt, and package this folder as a vpk.
My English is not good enough to describe the specific steps, but you can find the tutorial online

The vpk you need to open is this MOD, not pak01_ Dir

@shu I tried opening up pak01_dir and going into materials folder but could not find such a file, also tried going into materials folder in local files and still could not find it. Or is there any tool I have to download to see that file? Thank you.

Find the vmt named base_smear in the materials folder
Open it, add a line
$no_draw 1

I really love your mod. I just thought it would be better to not have the orange slashing effect when attacking with the knife. Could you make one without the effect or teach me how to remove it? Thank you.
