It will, I'm working on updating all of my mods to do so. The warm/cold and grid variants will be covered more to the end though.

will this mod get an update on AoR terrain with grids?

Sure. :)

can you make a v7 with this grid?
Ozhara  [author] 11 Jul, 2015 @ 4:14pm
Thanks. :)

Already working on upgrading my mods. To use the mod manager for a larger amount of mods was ... - not that funny in the beginning. But it got an overhaul now, so I'm working on it since this weekend. Just needs some time for it's 'a few' mods I have to upgrade - and each of them that needs one gets a content update right after the upgrade (which needs time too of course).

Ohh, I thought it meant that I had to do something to make it work, thanks for the quick response and for your huge amount of awesome mods, looking forward to begin able to use them

This means the mod isn't upgraded to the new steam workshop/mod system AoE was upgraded to with patch 4.0.

When I upgrade it the mod will be compatible again and reactivated automatically if you are still subscribed to it.

The mod doesn't work for me, it says is legacy and is written with red letters in the manager. Please any help or advice?

Of course you can use this mod without the gridlines. :)

You just have to subscribe to my original Full Texture Pack V6 - Plain Variant.

This one just has added grid lines to that packs terrains for those that like to use a grid.

You can easily find the original pack by going on my profile and opening my 'Full Texture Pack'-Collection.
It contains all my full texture packs beside the gridded ones and some special themed ones.

If I understand your description correctly, there is no to have the terrain blend and not be "choppy", and not have this checkerboard-looking grid. I'm I correct? Darn shame if so, because I think all the terrains are absolutely fantastic! BUT I had to unsubscribe b/c I just couldn't get past that awful checkerboard... kills the realism to much for me...

Thanks. :)

After subscribing, steam will automatically start to download a mod.

When this is done at your next game startup AoE will transfer the mod to its game folder and extract the mods archive. This takes place while the intro is playing until the chess sequence starts. Most smaller mods need less time, some larger mods (mostly soundtracks) need more time - so you need to start your game up to several times so AoE has enough time to handle all data in some cases.
Canceling the intro too early also means to cancel the installation process, which will be continued at next startup.

Alternativly take a look at my mod manager, it gives you a lot of additional options like creating different switchable mod setups, only installing parts of mods and so on. And it helps to avoid/solve a lot of workshop related bugs (and there are many) easily, especially when it comes to uninstalling mods.

Difficult to say. ;)

Most of my packs are no real updates but alternatives, so it highly depends on your personal taste which one to use.

That's one reason for adding 20-30 screens of the same areas to most packs - by opening them in your browser, you can better compare them.

All 'full' packs do replace the same objects, the 'grand' pack (v5) adds some more, but there were several requests to not do so, so I'm back to 'full' packs now.
Ozhara  [author] 11 Aug, 2014 @ 2:32am
But all my packs are just compilations of my seperate mods. And there are several versions for most game object types. Beside the berry bushes they are all grouped in themed collction so you can better find them.

In case you want to use a specific compilation not yet available I can also upload that mix for you so you don't need to organize a hand full of mods for your graphics.

As an alternative you can use my mod manager to organize and mix mods as well - but for the somewhat broken workshop integration of AoE I really recommend to read the manual first - there are a few points you have to know first.

I was considering on a texture pack, and I was thinking on yours as first option, which one of ur textures pack you consider bigger or can be considered as "the ultimate pack"?
I mean if i want a complete texture pack which one should I download?
Thanks for your answer! :D
