Outside of perhaps some number tweaking to reflect balance change if needed, I didn't have issue using this tome in my last game.
At first I thought, this might be a problem with a recent game update, but after starting the game up, Oath of Purity still works for me with the Human Paladins. Maybe it is an issue with the new DLC race or another mod or something? Nothing I could confirm currently, sorry.
Oath of Purity - Minor Transformation
Those able to resist temptation will not fall to corruption; resist cold, blight and status effects.
It won't let me cast it. It says No Valid Target. It should work since it's not a major race transformation.
Besides that, I am afraid I have no special insight in the inner workings of the Steam Workshop that might help here, does it even save older versions of mods? I always thought they would be deleted upon re-upload of newer versions.
Edit: Okay, it does save them, it seems. Still, sadly I have no idea why it would default to an older version, sorry. I have never seen such a problem before.
Fair enough since we already have a Chaos Fire Magic tome and Tome of the Horde gets thing done really nice which both are already base game tomes
Two Tomes, Tier I and III again, to fit together with the Tier II Tome of Revelry. Blood Magic, Music, Indulgence, something like that, unless there is already something like that made by someone else? Then it would feel a little redundant, maybe.
Hopefully not so much is broken this time around.
Oh, yes, the Pants Update is now out, by the way. Might mention that, too.
Pants are good now as well, I only now noticed, even humans were clipping, but I falsely saw it as worn clothing... well, all better now, and the feet of Tigran/Ratkin are adjusted, too, that one I even catched myself this time.
Update will be out in a few hours, probably.
I am not sure it would fit very well, Radiance is all about light and purity and conviction, nothing about this one sounds remotely like Chaos to me, other than having fire damage. But for affinity, I feel the philosophy is much more important than the tools one uses to achieve them.
But given your name I cannot avoid to mention now, I was thinking about doing some Bloodmancy-themed Chaos Tomes one day, something to supplement the Tier II Tome of Revelry with a Tier I and Tier III version. I may get a bit ahead of myself, first i have one more Fire-Order Tome to make, when I continue on this project.
@Tree-vore
Funny thing is, I am usually much more of a nature-chaos-dark type of player myself, and still I decided to start with this one, because I noticed that lack myself.
@BahamuT
I will put the custom art on my list as well, not sure if I actually have access to the game files in a way that allows me to directly use the game icons to make something new? The way they are packaged, I have only seen them via the modding tools so far. Maybe I will try make something entirely new eventually, although I think it has a certain charme to re-contextualize the existing icons, but I see why that might be a little jarring as well.
The province improvement honestly was the part I was least interested in to make, not a fan of that mechanic in general, so I felt I would not come up with anything remotely interesting. I will put it on my list though, if I continue to work on this mod. Not sure about nerfing the Blazing Ordination, magic attacks seem to get the short end with the base tomes already compared to arrows, and the enchantment is already priced one-tier higher in upkeep, so I think it might fit. Thank you for the feedback in any case, I will consider it.
@Raistlain
Per default, all enchantments should stack, mine being no exception. Would you consider double-dipping a problem? I am not quite sure at the moment, but I am not aware of any broken synergies this would produce, and thematically it might fit well, if ones goal is "fire" in general, not specifically 'holy fire'.
If you want a quick solution to easily make the art more unique, download a free photo editor like GIMP and make copies changing the HUE (with more blue-ish colors or something like that) , to distinguish them from the original ones.
