Fix for the bilge is to replace the air manifolds with fuel manifolds. You'll probably want to put a Fluid Valve between the port and the manifold.

turn on docking hatch mags on in both vehicles. then you need to make them touch each other perfectly. sadly they are not like connectors they need to be really close to each other
