One last thing, it seems after editing the settings for this mod through Mod Config Menu Pure, they always get reset upon restarting the game. Doesn't happen to any of my other mod settings. I'm using Repentogon as well if that matters.

Also I seem to encounter them very rarely in general, even with the rarity setting cranked up to 4 or 5 percent. Maybe they only spawn under certain conditions and not any time a penny drops?

Just wanted to let you know that I encountered the same bug as the other guy, a regular penny changed into a tablet upon leaving and reentering a room. This was a penny that spawned on the floor of the room, not from a chest. The only major mods with items or pickups that I have installed are Fiend Folio and The Future. I do have a lot of quality of life stuff installed including EID and some others, though.

is there a way to bump up the chances of encountering these? cuz ive done like 20 runs witrh this mod installed and i havent seen a single one

A quick note: I've been able to replicate it by setting the percent chance to as high as it will go (5%) and then spawning a bunch of chests, opening them all, leaving, and coming back. Directly spawned pennies with the console don't seem to make it happen.

Also, it only seems to happen with External Item Descriptions on, for some reason? I can't get it to happen anymore after turning it off.

I do have quite a few mods installed, but I don't have many that modify pickups. Andromeda, Mastema, and Samael add their own pickups that I know of.

I've looked into it and I cannot replicate. Do you have any other mods installed?

Adding onto that: I just opened a chest, it had 3 pennies in it. When I left and came back, two of them became tablets. It seems like the mod is randomly replacing coins upon leaving and coming back to a room.

Just had a weird bug where a room spawned with regular coins, but when I left the room and came back one of the coins was replaced by a tablet.

genuinely has to be one of my favorite mods for isaac, it's so simple of a concept but it fits so well and I'm surprised Edmund never thought about adding something like it himself because it just fits so perfectly in the game

Awesome! I love the mod config support too. I personally set the tablets to being worth 1 coin, but others can do 3 or even 5 if they wanted to, and that's really cool.

i updated it, they give 3 coins now. if you have mod config menu you can adjust how many coins they are worth

I am also of the opinion it should still give the coin.

Wait, I thought that the whole deal was that tablets still gave you a penny while also acting as the corresponding pill, which was a really interesting idea. Them *just* being different-looking pills is kind of disappointing in comparison.

yeah i also think you should get the coin aswell

doesnt seem worth if youre just adding more pills to the drop pool tbh. if you got the coin anyways itd be risk vs reward

I just had a golden penny be replaced by a tablet. I feel like that's not supposed to happen? Like, I picked up a golden penny and it was replaced by a tablet when it dropped again.

Thank you for the kind words. I've looked into it and I believe the issue stems from the player itself being responsible for drawing the guillotine head. Which means, in order to make the head transparent, the player's body will be made transparent as well. I imagine this is why nobody has done that.

Can you make the guillotine item less distracting? If you can make the rotating head transparent, it will be so grand. This is a guaranteed hot mod, every one wants it. I have no idea why no one has made it yet.
