at age 41-44, things should really start getting more difficult. Lose your strength bonus, 1.2x XP multiplier.
45-50, that's when things start going downhill. Gain a -1 fitness debuff, but a 1.35 XP multiplier.
55-60, -2 fitness, -1 strength, 1.5 XP mult.
60-65, -3 fit, -1 strength, 1.75xp
65-70, -4 fit, -2 strength, 2.0 XP
After 75? First of all, congrats for living this long. -4 fit, -3 strength, 2.5XP mult. After 85, -5 fit, -4 strength, and your XP mult drops to 1.5
After 95 (dear god) you should lose your XP mult entirely, and have -6 fit and strength.
At age 27 you should lose one point of your fitness bonus (so +1) while retaining strength. You're not QUITE as capable as you were in your younger days, but you're still pretty young, and you're also more intelligent as well, meaning you should lose the XP debuff.
I'm sorry, I have to say that aloud because it sounds absurd.
And yet, I want it.
