still works.
could you pls inform if there is any way to add more levels, change EXP obtained and/or change skills points per level and quantity of attributes per level?
Sorry for the late response!!
If its working i'll just update the version to prevent the warning :)
Awesome mod idea btw. I naively expected this to already be included in the vanilla game. Lol. Very glad to see it here.
Is there a way to disable that or add new attribute for that? Maybe something that increases movement, attack, and build speed so it's at least worthy of a point?
the old version is still on github, in case you want it, didn't update it there.
Tested it with the mod disabled
The stats apply an X buff to you, since buffs are being carried over, the game thinks you're the level of your last character that you specced or logged out of>
I'll try doing a clean/reapply buffs logic on join
The stats in a world that any character has spent their points on will carry to other characters, as you dev outlined a few comments below. The issue(? or feature?) is that these characters can "spread" the stats to other worlds, too, "infecting" any new characters that come into those "infected" worlds.
Right now I can create a world, drop my main character there, get out and drop a new character in there and spend a point, rinse and repeat and have my main char sitting on all lvl 50 stats at level 1 in the main world, which will also spread to all the new chars that get into the world.
Having to deal with new logic chains after a major functional change like this? I feel that right in my gut haha.
Loading the world for the second time does work though.
KNOWN ISSUE: Base game is carrying over buffs from character to character in the same world.
This includes the stat effects, as they're buff based.
Just respec one stat and it should fix itself.
