I was wondering if i could motivate you to create a mod that does not limit the flow when using a filter like the liquid filter limits the output when being used i find this redundant, in real life when you filter something the speed of the material flowing would not be halfed. Please accept my friend request if this is something you'd be interested in.
old:
1. The dock has been configured for delivery - 'Deliver Suit' has been clicked and other choices such as 'Undock Suit' have not been clicked since then.
2. The dock does not already have a suit and it is not already marked for receiving a suit.
3. The dock is not connected to a checkpoint with 'Clearance: Vacancy' (delivering there would block returning).
4. The last time since a suit has been equipped from the dock is longer than a cycle (configurable).
new:
The mod will work only if:
1. Select the operation mode for the dock: 'Clearance: Always'
2. More than one cycle has passed since a suit was in a dock.
3. For exiting dock: Undock and redock all suites, on all docks, for the mod to take effect.
4. For new docks: 'Deliver Suit' must have been clicked, and 'Undock Suit' must not have been clicked since.
It's just feedback. You don't have to change anything if you don't want to.
I just repeated jyour 3rd point in different words ("The dock does not already have a suit and it is not already..."). My general feedback feedback is you should use "positive" or affirmative actions in instructions. For example, to have socks on your feet...
not good:
- do not expose your bare feet to the hard floor and don't leave your feet cold.
good:
- put your socks on.
> The dock does not already have a suit and it is not already marked for receiving a suit.
I had to undock and re-request docking.
> The dock is not connected to a checkpoint with 'Clearance: Vacancy' (delivering there would block returning).
Avoid the negative instructions. Just write that the clearance must be set to "Always".
> The last time since a suit has been equipped from the dock is longer than a cycle (configurable).
I can't find the option to adjust the delay before a dock is set to "deliver suit". Do I need to change the value in the code and rebuild the mod?

Seems to work, otherwise. Not sure why the base game is not like this... They want you to play in a very specific way and setup the suits in a very specific way. The default behavior is strange, to say the least.
