Yeah, I'm getting crashes when trying to use Intimidating Strike, too. Not sure what's causing it...

i haven't troubleshooted the issue but im curious if anyone else crashes if they try to use any of the combat spells from the valor tome (and maybe victory?)

Dunno if this is a mistake or what, but this mod adds one of your custom factions to the premade faction pool called "Fyrdmen"

There seems to be a problem with the Huscarl for the avian race; the head doesn't render properly, and the Huscarls instead come out as sort of headless solders.

Also, Valkyrie can be summoned regardless of the current level of Wizard Tower; as a tier 4 summon unit, it should not be summonable until you've constructed the Wizard Tower: Apex building.

Battle training can currently be used to rank up units all the way to legendary. It does continue to only affect tier 2 and 3 units though, that part is working fine.

I know there's not any development of this mod at this time, but want to leave the bug reports here in case Digger or Monger want to get back into it :)

Just wanted to post that Huscarl unit with Lupine race is missing the head. Really love this mod, amazing tomes that fit perfectly with the norse-esque faction I'm playing this campaign. Thank you for your work!

Ugh, I hate when real life gets in the way of the important stuff. Gaming!

Whatever works best for you. I have made some aesthetic changes to the Huscarl to suit my taste and had some thoughts on tweaking a few other things for the Huscarl and Valkyrie.

So if you'd prefer to keep your mod unaltered, should you have time to return to it, I could upload my patches as a separate mod, of course crediting you and linking to the original.

I want to play this game but I can't get it to work. Every time I try to load any games it just crashes. I saw earlier you said it was probably an incompatibility issue, so does that mean I can't have ANY other tome mods with this one?

I get the flag for metadata too. I close the launcher and re open it and it goes away.

Related to the 'weaponless reaver huscarl' bug, huscarls also appear invisible in ocean battles, at least for Reavers. I don't know about other cultures.

I'm assuming that the Tome of Valor's skill only applies to the adjacent units, and doesnt give Rally to the Hero as well? (Since the tooltip is a bit unclear on that.)

I did notice a bug that if you are playing Reavers and use the Tome of Valour, the huscarl does not have a sword. I confirmed this with only this mod activated.

Hey, I was just wondering what traits you would give Reichert Reicherts considering they reworked the trait system. Currently he has one free point to use.

I'm thinking Hardy, Cold Blooded, or Adaptable.

Also any plans to change the name so that it's not just 2 of the same name essentially? Love the mod btw. Appreciate everything you do.

It shows that the Proving Grounds is a Farming Province Improvement, but it doesn't count as a Farm?

Sorry about the Battle Training bug, turns out it was Elite and Legend Medals Explained that was causing the issue! Had to do with giving units a copy of the original elite medals, which Digger at Arms' script was unable to detect.

I pushed out a new update, which should have fixed the problem!

@warriorandtoaster, it might be Elite & Legend medals explained, as the script used the elite medals to detect the units rank. I'll do some testing.

I don't think so, no. The only mods here I can think of that involve XP are two UI mods (XP UI Improvements and Elite & Legend Medals Explained), and ECU.

@warriorandtoaster, glad to hear you are enjoying the mod. they shouldn’t rank up past elite. Are you using using a mod that changes the rewards at elite rank.

I was about to say that Battle Training felt way too strong for a 45 mana spell but the description on the mod page notes that it's supposed to not go past Elite rank, which isn't the case in game.

Also I played a game with the Tome of Valor, Expanded Cultural Units, and a build themed around dragon knights with the new DLC. It's funny how there's this pseudo-synergy with all three that only works 100% *before* units evolve, since ECU Feudal's Knights evolve to a T4 unit, knocking them out of Heroic Sagas' range of eligible units. The same applies to Young Dragons from the DLC and so on. That said, it's still a pretty cool build and it's not like units evolving become weaker since the math works out that they still have statistical superiority.
