The signal deceiver is ment to be placed on the track, like a track addon. It is not supossed to couple to a train. The deceiver should be placed permanently on the track. If you want to recreate the setup I have made in the image.

Is the deceiver meant to be placed on your train (like an EOD but on the front of a train) or is it meant to be temporarily placed on the (red) track to stop the second train from merging into the first?
