If you siege down a desert region that also means the one controlling the county might control the water too, most of it. Home advantage should be harsh against attackers supplies.
Anyway, a brain fart, love to see this continue, but I have an issue with selecting tactic, I click the button ind ecisions but nothing happens, it just becomes available the following second, and so I can repeat clicking the button with no effect.
I can see guerilla tactic being a very defensive one for smaller realms.. AI should go for that if they are much weaker. Making certain places like mountains even better for them, or forests, jungles, desserts.. guerilla would be avoidning pitched battles and striking full force at small precice areas at the bigger army before vanishing quickly, night strikes if capable leader, burn or remove food for enemy advance etc etc and of course ambush in mountain passes etc. Wars have been decided like this too like the Bulgars vs Byzantines, Armenians vs Arabs, Scots vs Norwegians and vice versa there..
