@A_random_guy_here I encourage you to use and modify my code however you want. This module would make for a very slow video recorder though (32x32 takes ~17s to capture a single image).

Hi KwentiN, amazing MC! I re-engineered it and added an in-motion scanning feature! I made a video explaining that for YouTube and gave you full credit. I plan on adding this to all my research vessels, of course with credit to you. Fantastic work 10/10

@that one titanic dude Sure thing! Feel free to change the color scaling in the code to give it a personal touch. Looks something like `c_scale = {0.2,1,0.2}` with where each number scales R,G or B

Indeed, mirroring the laser distance sensor did help: now the laser is moving from L to R (just like your controller builds the image). In your unedited build the laser was moving from R to L.

@kev4ev You can flip the sensor in the editor. Just select the part and mirror the corresponding axis. Looks really good in your vessel!

@Secret176 Unfortunately it's a bit too slow to use as proper nightvision :( I tried using multiple lasers in tandem but that exploded into complexity I'm not equipped to tackle at the moment

@mi62_reed1 I know, you'll need to accomodate when placing the sensor. I'd need to rearrange the matrix to fix that but thats a real pain to debug. I left the code uncompressed so you can change it yourself if you know some LUA

By the way the sensor is inverted L/R in your example and causing stuff to be backwards, went to look at HMHS Britannic wreck and it was backwards in relation to wreck. i inverted sensor and it corrected it

@mi62_reed1 You can use it in any orientation just like a camera. I think you have to flip the laser upside down for the right image orientation.
