It could be that I had activated the time 1:2 or 1:4 in the Ravage module so that the character also gets thirsty and hungry.

Hi, thanks for the mod - I have only been playing for a few minutes but the scenario is promising. Using the in game watch I noticed that it's ticking quicker than it should be. Is time sowhow accelerated in the scenario?

Sorry but I can't get used to this VA 3.0, even though it has some very interesting tools. Here's my offer: I'll do a similar mission where another item needs to be bought and you can just turn on the mod and customize it to your liking.

Yay, found the error with the satellite phone and will deal with the Vandeanson's mod soon. Is there actually a difference between Vandeanson's 3.0 and the (replaced) Vandeanson's? I have the last one.

I tested the mod first with a satellite phone and then with the US radio from the RHS Mod, unfortunately it doesn't work and I also believe that this mod is more in my way with the mission.

Well tbh, that Vandeanson's 3.0 looks to be more suited to a zombie apocalypse and/or radiation zone scenario. But, I'm sure those two aspects could be toggled off or just ignored completely.
You'll probably just end up with useless item spawns of antirad, infection injectors, etc.

Unfortunately, after testing with that mod, it makes changes to too many other things.
Yeah, things can be toggled off within the game addon options menu but it would be like shutting off and tweaking almost everything to get the loot spawns as you have already made.

The survival aspects of this don't jibe with the one you have in place. Such as hydration and nutrition. Cooking, filling canteens and bottles, drinking, etc.
A shame as the temperature feature(getting hot/cold) I think would be a great addition along with bleeding out and the ability to fine tune the AI difficulty as that mod provides.

I'm sure if one had the time to tweak this to their liking it could be done.
But it might be a bit of an undertaking.
I'm not a savvy at modding. This game for certain anyway.

If you can edit Vandeanson's in the editor in the same way and can clarify the thing with the radio like that, that sounds great. Unfortunately, I won't be back on the PC until the weekend.

Have you considered Vandeanson's Apocalypse mod and possibly merging that?
Just tried it out and it works with yours but adds some stuff that is useless along with finding radios.
Found a radio almost from the start.

Seems a bit more challenging with the enemy. Adds a health element and temperature conditions.

Seems like it would be a very nice compliment with some tweaking.

I have no problem finding AKM ammo. That seems in abundance on corpses.
The CZ 550 ammo seems a bit more rare. Keeping to Russian weapons seem logical.
Would like to see more variation though if at all possible.

Suggestions:
Maybe a rare instance of finding non-Russian weapons and ammo on enemies and/or loot sources. Like the rare.338 LRR you had on that one raider.
Keeping those only as finds and not for purchase or sale. Thus making the scavaging for their ammo a pleasant surprise, while at the same time, picking and choosing your fights to conserve that ammo. I don't know, maybe in some of the military barracks?

Making the toolboxes have more than just a few uses before being depleted. Because most of the vehicles I've found are in really bad shape and will take maybe three to four toolboxes to fix.


Still though, am enjoying the scenario.

@ Guilty of Being White That was Sacha's rifle I wanted him to get a unique weapon in this game. Nevertheless, I have to admit that the CDF soldiers have at least one AK74 version that is not listed in the Gearpool module and is therefore not for sale. In any case, I intend to change that. To the outfits I will add an outfit dealer, which was always unnecessary for me because I usually only plundered clothes, armour and backpacks that I needed myself. Weapons and ammunition in the houses sounds interesting. I recently played STALKER again. And there you rarely found information about hiding when looting corpses. What do you think of the idea if I leave folders or notes on the locations of such hiding places?

@ Jovan, yes I shouldn't change my mission, but Honger was also right these heinous real pictures don't fit into a PC game I only had the idea for the final version and I think my beta tester Dator and Hans(z) would have advised me the same.

So far, I'm liking the raider spawns, sometimes in vehicles and roadblocks.

But.

Some of the weapons are not showing up for sale.
For instance I found a .338 LRR in the very beginning from a raider I dropped. When I went to sell it, never showed up in the scroll menu. Only received one clip and haven't found any for that rifle in hours of play and looting.

Also, Is it intended to have an almost non-existent loot spawn?
What does show up is pretty much useless clothing/outfits/backpacks/etc.
Food and drink finds haven't seemed to be an issue though along with ammo but only from killing raiders.
Also, the toolbox runs out very quickly. Not a problem but it seems fairly rare to find one among most of the useless items that do occasionally spawn.

I would like to see an occasional weapon and ammo loot spawn in houses and whatnot.

No, theyre gone, sad sad world. But just to let you know I see hongers point, however this is a rated R game. About war. There is already gore in the main vanilla campaigns AND theres also a campaign about war crimes. You shouldnt need to alter your vision to appease others

Is it possible that you are playing with an older score? Yesterday I had definitely deleted and uploaded all the pictures, the folder, the trigger and the diary entry. Only older downloads should still have that.

There are two other sellers in the black market. One for items such as food and tools and one for weapons. Under the SELL menu, you can loot various weapons and objects until you have the 500$ together. Or like twice with me one of the enemies had a radio with him. That shouldn't be because I clearly defined in the Gearpool what the opponents should have with them.

Thanks for the criticism, I wanted to show with these memories how much we currently hide our own war crimes and point to Serbs or currently to the Russians. But you're right and I'll delete it the next time I'm on the PC.

Cool scenario although I don't think putting real life gore into something that someone might stream (or might be played by someone underaged, there's a lot of such players in Arma 3 community) is a good idea. Dunno what's the reason, personally I find it disgusting (war crimes in some shooter are far from being comparable to real life ones), but if these "pictures" are so essential at least add a warning about NSFW content, please.
