I'm from around the area as well and Scranton is a great trainspotting location. The local railroad there uses equipment from the 60s. They have a lot of cool steam engines as well, unfortunately none are operable at the moment.

My brother moved from the UK, to Baltimore, and then moved to Waymart, not quite on my doorstep so to speak, so next time I'm in the area, I'll probably go take a look at it, as I never new that bridge was there!
Been around the area, Honesdale, Carbondale, Dickson City along with a visit to the railway railroad museum in Scranton too. Well worth a visit.
Plenty of history in the area too. Birthplace of the industrial revolution in America, with all that coal production and mining you can understand why, and the need for bridges to overcome terrain issues. Would be a great excuse to make a coal themed map of the area...
(hmm there's a thought)

Yes the DL&W had an extensive electric commuter network in the North Jersey Area. New Jersey Transit still operates those lines as the M&E Division. Contact me if your interested with Details, I built a DL&W workshop route for Train Simulator, So I have a bit of DL&W info.

@themeatballhero I'm assuming @Nolan the foamer kid is talking about the portal bridge in Secaucus Nj. It's an old ass swing bridge that gets stuck open a ridiculous amount of times and is currently in the early phases of being replaced. Since he requested that (or at least I think that's what he meant) I'll also request the portal tunnels, the 100+ year old tunnels decaying under the hudson river

Does the bridge come in diffrent textures or is the texture bad because it looks like its diffrent stone types

Nice bridge, thanks for the work. But the pillars disappear at some distance. The upper part remains visible.

They had EMUs? I'm going to make the some DL&W E8s here soon-ish.
