Blocking in general causes you to float freely if nothing stops you. If you and your opponent are this same character and block... your game just times out until frames run out and one person wins by default.

if you parry midair it takes away your options and you float upward until you're glued to the ceiling

you should def update this character, its fun to play but not being able to control the super jumps or parry's not being the same like others characters just feels weird, though like i said he is fun to play and when you get your combos started he is amazing

Ever since the block changes it just behaves really weird and I end up getting stuck on the roof of the stage because I tried for a parry.

Brawler is unplayable in the current update her block freezes her out the game, I had her vector locked to (She floated to the top and stayed there cause I hit her with an uppercut type move which she blocked and was unable to leave mountain stance)

I don't understand what people mean by "op". If they're refering to multi-hits, just DI out, same goes for combos. As for supers, i didn't find them too strong. To be fair, haven't played against basegame characters but when fighting other modded characters I feel like the character is actually fair. Then again, im no yomih wizard who has infinite knowledge of the game. Also on a side-note, when you block, you get only 3 options: block again, punch or hold block which makes it really hard to fight back against a character with lots of projectiles since he can stay back and just keep shooting.

had to uninstall cuz people using this dude seems to proud about how good they are

Was messing around in single-player and he was stuck doing an infinite guard loop, as if I were just clicking guard over and over and I didn't have any other options, was only able to get him out by having the opponent grab him.
Very fun character otherwise, though it would also be nice if he had 100% original sprites instead of borrowing some from Ninja like the landing sprite.

Whirlwind is WAY too fast and strong. Even a character like Susano'o needs to work to get a slower version of it.

Here is some advice after my playing of the character:
You can infinite combo
Some moves have to go through every frame, like the mult hit one (also can be inf comboed)

Great animations though bit too OP.

hot take : block is kinda dumb either throw out a easy to read move or block again which can both make you lose frames makes fighting some modded character hard and annoying

ALSO-- one thing that might be bugged-- is the 4 meter move that does the dance, which name i can't remember at this time.
i've noticed that like
50/50 of the time i use the move and hit mid combo: 50% of the time brawler hits the griddy and then does the follow up and all is good
the other 50% of the time i hit them, brawler starts the griddy but then the opponent can act and the griddy is wasted-- i don't know if i don't understand something about the move or not but it doesn't always seem to work when hit

if your having troubles landing combos, just play defensively and wait to counter.

i wanted to right my thoughts on brawler now its either i suck at the game or etc but heres my thoughts

i like him hes really cool but i feel like when up against a good player hes very readable now
i think (could be false) all his moves are for mid combo but its very hard to put someone in a combo with his main move being whirlwind i see my self running away most of the time looking for a opening but i just cant unless i read the enemy guy but its hard when he got 100 moves that either counter mines or just out wins me these are just my thoughts like i said i could be trash
