Same goes for the text on the main texture to be honest, it's not really noticeable unless if youre looking very closely, however its a bit jarring when you do see it because it makes no sense logically to put an actual map on guns in this format. Instead you'd just make a map-like texture that looks like a map so that your gun would look like a map instead of being one, or you'd make the map only on the flattest side with the most surface area if for some reason you really did want it to be a map.
The text all around is a bit jarring and very opposing to immersion, and I don't think you should use it as an excuse to not make the secondary texture more interesting nor use it to reason that you put it on there for the sake of funny seeds.
not to mention that the text is not very jarring in my opinion.
i was kind of bummed that this wasnt based on the "you're on your way to" loading screen, but im pretty sure that has been done already.
