This mod seems broken. Can't enable it.

The typewriter speed is working, you have to reboot the game for the changes to take effect, though.

Don't download/subscribe until they update the mod to be compatible.

I can use the function of speeding up but when I send employee to vacation they take their unmodified time to recover and before I know it I go bankrupt [ I tried on Highest speed ]

Changing the length of a week is a good idea, but it causes problems if you slow the week down, play for a while, then save and load the game. Upon loading, the game picks up where it should have been if you hadn't slowed the week down. I lost two years of time because of this. I had a boatload of messages about all of the consoles being removed from the market and new ones entering. I also had to pay my expenses for the two years, so my cash dropped to near zero. I have tried playing around with various ways of loading the game to make this work, but I have not been successful. This, combined with the lack of actually changing the typewriter speed as pointed out by other commenters, is causing me to drop this mod.

This mod is shit.

First the checkbox doesn't work
Secondly it puts the typwriter speed to unusably slow levels, no matter how much I lower the 'delay' number.

Is there a way to turn off overriding modal dialogs? I frequently get 2-3 overlapping and I can't even read them.

@DataJager did you happen to find the Insta review mod? that should be what yer looking for.

When developing a game with this mod on, GDT often bugs and stops the game developement. I can research techs, train characters etc., but game development can't be started again (and other game developments can't be started also, this kills the game). Other problem is with review-windows which are default speed. In settings, the option is default and greyed out. Will there be patch to solve these problems, superb mod otherwise.

This does speed up the game, but I can't get it to let me change the review speed. Unfortunately that's the whole reason I even started modding my game.

How do I work this mod?

Great mod. I have some problems with it tough. Some messages just show up for 0,1 sec and are immediatly skipped. I don't know what kind of messages they are, because I can't see them, but i think "New Consoles" might be part of them, because there was a new console without any messages. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Oh and here's something:

Well, i use UltimateLib from Workshop and this mod. Doesnt Work... What else am i supposed to do now. What information are needed? Thats so... bwah... everything else works. Only this mod refuses to work (but it loads. There are no tabs. Nothing.)

Game development sliders randomly fail to show up leaving you stuck mid development until restart. Speed up review is greyed out (the only reason i dl'd this)

so if you save then load the game advances years takeing charging you every month of the advance i went from year 3 to 10 is this going to be fixed becouse this is a great mod if it wasnt for that

go to settings, move the week and speed sliders abit and set it back to your desired speed, then load last save game.

I was using the option of modify the week duration, and after load the saved game. The time lapso change to normal and suddenly the diffrence of time come to the present.

Something like go from year 5Y11M3S to 31Y5M1S and all the events from this period.

So all the new consoles, the tax for the office (from 92M to 5M), the invitation to the G3.

My question is, Did I my something wrong? or this mod don't allow to save and load if you use week duration change?

I seem to recall I disabled everything, set the typewriter to 0; restarted the game....and it acted like it ignored the request. I didn't dig much more to see if it's perhaps some kind of strange permissions issue. I didn't play the non workshop mod version long enough to see if it even did that (in fact, I think I forgot to disable it pre-workshop).

Hmm, scratch that. It seems to be working normally now. I was fooling around with the typewriter settings and maybe it was set too high and that bugged it out.

Okay, thanks for the quick response. I hope you can get it working--the slow reviews are the most cringe-worthy part of the game for me. I've noticed that my reviews are being clipped -- e.g., "Can't wait for the sequ" and "Their focus on Level Design served" -- is this related to the mod?

In my notification settings screen, Reviews dialog is greyed out and set to Default. Is this feature not yet available, or is there something wrong with my config? Thanks for developing this mod, btw!

Settings - Notifications - Speed Up (uncheck the Enable checkbox) (it's underneath the Typewriter delay setting).

How exactly are you disabling the overlays?
